Sizing Notes
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.

Best Fit & Function
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm just over 6'1 and 165 lbs and the medium on this was a PERFECT fit when every other brand I tried was either too small in medium or too big in a large. This vest stays incredibly warm during the winter when zipped or layered under a shell and comfortable during the fall/spring when open over a shirt or flannel. Its ability to dry fast is very valuable, strong stitching/material and the fact that it packs into it's own pocket makes it a guaranteed take along for everything! This along with a lot of other good products I've gotten from Marmot will give them my continued business.
Super warm and light

Very warm
I purchased this vest a little over a month ago and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It has replaced another vest that was filled with feathers and when I took that vest off I felt like I was molting. My one and only dislike of the vest is the inside pocket, it is on the right side and difficult to gain access to. I am different from most of your customers though, I had a stroke and can not use my left arm. So a left side pocket would be preferable. Overall the vest is great and I wear it constantly.
Another Fabulous Marmot Product!
This vest was a replacement for one that I lost. Of course, the Marmot vest surpasses the other one in so many ways. The fabric is lovely, the finishes and features as well, and the fit is super. Since I got it I have literally not worn another jacket in this cold weather season. Thanks Marmot, for being my go-to outdoor gear company. It makes gearing up a no-brainer!
Warm, but fraying
I've been wearing the vest several times a week for about 3 weeks since I got it. Vest looks good and is plenty warm. My one complaint is that almost immediately I noticed some fraying of threads around the zipper. It's nothing that's going to compromise the construction of the vest, but it makes the vest look older and more worn than it is.

Warm quality product. However I find it cut a bit large and loose to be an athletic fit. The back length(27”) is ok for walking but too long for everyday use or sitting. It is also advertised as storing into a pocket; that’s impossible so don’t expect that to be true.
Great vest but Fit is not.
I bought this for as a Christmas gift in a XXL which other Marmot coats have fit great. This vest does not. I believe the majority of XXL men do not need an athletic fit but rather a regular or a relaxed fit. If you have a slim or athletic build it would be great.
Okay, but had to return
The vest was too long in the back. Also, the green color was a bit awkward--not the usual muted forest green that matches khaki colored garments. I usually fit perfectly in medium, but the cut of the vest was not for a normal medium-sized person.
Perfect Underlayer
This vest lives up to Marmot’s great design and quality. I love the features, inside pocket fits a phone no matter what the size, nice and warm and great style. highly recommend this product.

Bought this mo or ago and love it!!! Fits nice to size, not bulky and moves nicely w me, even swinging golf club over long sleeve insulated shirt. Worth every nickel!
