Good Pants for touring
I love these pants and they are a good price. I took them out about 15 times this season (got them in February). Kept me dry on wet snow days and breath well. I love the pockets and side vents. Zippers are solid and easy to open/close. They do seem a little fragile. On my first tour out I got a cut on the inside leg where the reinforced cuffs are (probably about 1/2 inch). Must have been from a ski edge. I also got some small holes from branches in them from various other tours. One small hole as well from an alpine ax snagging the soft part of the pant. I really thought they would last more than a season. Maybe this pair was just an anomaly.

New favorite pants for... everything?
You know when you put on a new piece of technical clothing and immediately you're like, yeah, these are awesome? And then you actually use it for it's technical purpose and you're like, yeah, these are actually really awesome? That's the Pro Tour pants, for me. I've got the navy blue, which is true to the color on the website. I wish I also bought the grey, but now they're out of stock. It's (mild) winter now in UT, and I wore these touring yesterday. They're equally legit for making a run to the grocery store. So versatile. Great design, materials, construction. Can't rate the pro tour pants highly enough!

Great, amazing with a tiny mod
These pants fit great, I love that they come in short because you don’t need that much length when you’re wearing them with ski boots and internal gaiter mountaineering boots. In fact I modified them to be even more versatile by adding a second snap post to tighten the legs up when mountaineering with my la sportiva built in gaiter single boots. It really cleans it up and reduces crampon snag.

Size Medium, Length Short
Me, height 66 inches, weight 150 lbs, waist 31, inseam 28. Use, alpine touring. The inseam is about right as is the waist. The garment moves well and does not bunch up or fold. Access to boot buckles is very good due to the zippered cuffs. Front pockets are a bit shallow as is the thigh pocket. Suspenders are not necessary and the vents are situated well for dumping heat and moisture. The material is fairly light weight. It does a nice job of blocking wind and keeping heat in when ascending during a tour. However, when descending, in temperatures less than 15 degrees Fahrenheit I use a shell. I would recommend this garment for anyone who tours and is looking for a lighter weight well designed and constructed pant.

Happy with the Marmot
I'm 5-11 200lbs. and the 36 fit just fine. If I can lose another 5 to 10lbs. they'll fit great. Paired with a good base layer and they hold up to the coldest New England mountain days. For the price I thought they were a bargain. They're not a baggy ski pant which is exactly what I wanted.
If You Wanna Party....
If You Wanna Party....Buy These Pants:). Cuz I could fit my entire extended family in these pants. And, if we wanted to swim, we could, cuz I'm swimming in these pants.:). But seriously, they look like great pants, they are just waaaay toooo large for my boney little behind. I did the Marmot custom fitter thingy & they sent me these, go figure. Sending them back but I would order a smaller size in the future. I'm sure if I find the right size they would be good.

Men's Pro Tour Pants
I was pretty excited trying these on when I got them; best fitting shell pants I've ever found (I'm 5'6, 125, 29" waist, 30" inseam, and the small/short size was perfect). The high back is a really nice feature, waist size was perfect, no suspenders necessary. Sadly, I decided to return them, for two slight details: The cuff and gaiter were too loose (large) a fit for the boots I intended to use them with: a two buckle plastic (Excursions), and some high cut leather 75mm's (Alaskas). As there was not a way to adjust the cuffs short of a modification (which would have been simple, but I was apprehensive about voiding the warranty). One other issue was a personal peeve of mine, in that the fabric, while light, and obviously very high quality, had that sort of "crispiness" to it that is common with many laminates; I had hoped for something quieter. Overall, they're most excellent, just missed on a couple of my personal detail preferences.

Solid Option for High Output w/o looking Skimo
Good Touring Pant! Previously owned the OR Trailbreaker for about 6 years, and these are a lighter weight and more breathable option - which is good for high output activities. My only wish - is for mesh or removable gaiters! No one does this anymore, but it's the best way to incorporate breathability into the lower leg/boot area.

Exactly what I was looking for at a mortals price
I’ve now spent somewhere close to 20 days in these pants and love them! I simply select my baselayer thickness to adapt to the forecast. Only things I’d pick out are the straps tend to loosen a bit and the side vents could be bigger but I haven’t felt hot in them though. Minor points to an otherwise great item.

Good but Sizing Didn't Work
I get hot in bibs and hate snow down my back, so ski pants with suspenders are my go to. The quality seemed good on these for the price point, but unfortunately they were way too short. I sized up to an XL hoping to get a little extra length, but still too short so I had to send them back. I'm 6' 2" and 190.
