Works, but some assembly required
I live in a mountainous part of Alaska. There are only cell towers in town, and once you leave town reception gets spotty quick. Once I got the booster installed, I noticed a significant improvement in my cell coverage. On one drive I do regularly, the booster made the difference from no usable service interrupted by a few spots of poor service on hill tops, to mostly OK and poor service interrupted by no service in the valley bottoms. I was able to make a perfectly clear call from a pullout on the side of the road about 30 miles from town where I have never had service before. Installation was a bit tricky. The supplied aluminum universal antenna mount felt solid, but wasn’t quite right to mount anywhere on my truck. It was slightly too narrow to use the threaded blocks that mate with the accessory rail in the bed. I ultimately bought a stainless steel Firestik CB antenna mount at the local auto parts store that was slightly wider and allowed me to mount it on my truck right away. There are plenty of nicer options available from custom parts manufacturers online. The 1/2” hole the antenna mounts to is standard for CB antennae, so it should only be a minor inconvenience to find something that works for your vehicle. It is an inconvenience though, and why I didn’t give the kit 5 stars. Once the antenna is mounted, the rest of installation was pretty easy. I made sure to run the cable down beneath the cab and up through the bottom of the door so rain wouldn’t run along it into the cab. The interior antenna comes with a Velcro tab to mount it to the driver’s seat, but I found it didn’t stick to my upholstery, so I used the flat adhesive strip and mounted it to my center console. Once installed and running, I found a very obviously noticeable improvement in reception, as noted above. It worked with voice calls and texts, including image texts. It also worked perfectly for myself and passenger at the same time. We were both able to make calls from a place that we otherwise wouldn’t have had signal. Overall, the kit does exactly what it’s supposed to, but may require some creativity and extra parts depending the vehicle you have.
Best Signal Booster
By far the best signal booster on the market hands down. Quality and Service is 10/10 you will not regret getting this booster, I should have bought it a long time ago. You know what they say you get what you pay for this is definitely well worth the money. Get yours today you won’t regret it!
OTR
Just fyi. This post/ purchase is not sponsored I purchased the OTR unit with my own money. The unit is awesome. Highly recommend. See photos as proof. Location: Florence Lake California. AT&T service provider. IPhone 13 Pro Max (unlocked) Boosted to LTE voice and txt.
Easy to install
I just installed it on my Toyota 4 Runner using a ram mount to attach the antenna onto the stock roof rail. I will have to wait to check it for cell boost until I travel for xmas.

It Works! But you need to Understand how it works
This has saved me a bunch of times. I got camping and to the beach a lot were signal is bad. I get no service, then turn it on and boom, 1-2 bars. With that said, it may not always increase your download speeds. Those speeds are dependent on many factors including the back haul network to the tower. Everyone does speed tests which is ok but not the best measure. You should dial *3001#12345#* and get your RSRP number. Take the measurement before and after the booster. It really does work, most negative reviews are from folks that don’t understand the technology and how cellular backhaul works. I work for an ISP and are familiar will microwave and dark fiber networks.
Buyer Beware
Buyer beware. I have owned three WeBoost units in the last three years. All three failed. I was able to return two of them within the warranty window but am stuck with one $600 paperweight. I have had two fail out of the box and had one last less than a year of use. Their warranty is 2 years. If you are only in rural areas a few times a year, they are relying on you not using it and it dying just beyond the warranty window without you noticing. I live full time on the road. I have been across the country 5 times with a WeBoost and at no point did it ever function as intended. At one point, I was carrying two in the car and neither worked. I can say with great confidence, save your money and headaches from Wilson Electronics. You won’t get substantially further in nature with the WeBoost than you would without it. I’ve been on the road three years and for all the money I’ve spent on WeBoost, I’d have been better to save the money for gas to get back to areas with solid service. There are better alternatives. Don’t waste your money. If you insist you need this technology, I can tell you as a full-time nomad with years of experience, that you are wasting your money on this product.
Awesome results. Such an easy install.
We just installed the Weboost Drive Reach OTR on my son’s Tacoma. He does a lot of off-roading and has found himself in some precarious situations with little or no cell signal so his girlfriend bought this for him for a birthday gift. Had some minor issues initially with oscillating signals but went back and rerouted the wires and the results are a massive increase in cell signal. One suggestion I’d make is to loosely lay the wires you’d like to route them and hook it up to powers to test it before you start burying them under the carpet and trim. Keep both antennas completely away from one another and avoid laying the side by side with other power wires in the car.
Great working booster.
I bought this about a week ago and is working great. Kept the box to make sure it worked if not to return it and I’m in the middle of nowhere with full bars of 5G.

Great addition!
Fantastic. Recently took a trip through highway 93 in Nevada and where we had one bar, this amplified it to 4 bars with the flip of a switch. Installation was simple and straight forward. I used a Front Runner antenna bracket to mount the antenna. No issues driving with the antenna at all. Great product and well worth the money to keep comms up in the middle of nowhere. I also use a Garmin InReach for hikes. Between the two of these, im covered.
Niche product, but works great
While this car-based cell phone booster can't work miracles, it does give a good ~2 bar boost to signal strength. If there is a mountain between you and the cell tower, you just aren't going to have signal. Out in the wilderness, when you can squeeze a text message out, now you can get a phone call. Closer to the city, at the edge of 4g coverage, it doubles your download speed and improved upload speeds by 4x. If you're in a car and far out there, this will help bring the outside world a little closer to you. This model needs a hard point to attach to. It's not going to work for most SUV's and similar vehicles. It would be good for a RV or something with a external crossbar. Maybe it could be mounted horizontal onto a roof rack, but I would be nervous to try that. Double check the mounting information as this model is designed for semi-trucks.
