Gorgeous color, great feel
I was a little nervous about a wool bralette, but amazingly this doesn't itch my sensitive skin even a little bit. The color is absolutely gorgeous and it feels great. I found this fairly true to size in the band, but a little bit big in the boob area (I am fairly flat chested). It didn't bother me too much, and I recognize that it would accommodate others with larger chests. Highly recommend this bralette for warm days camping, or even just out and about in the city.
my first merino bra is a hit
I have never owned a merino bra before but was looking for something to use while winter hiking. I get very sweaty on the ascents which then translates to freezing cold. I found this bra to be my new go-to as it is very comfortable and dries quickly when wet. I even brought it to use on a recent vacation to Costa Rica and it was amazing in the warm climate too. I am and a 36C and found the Medium to fit snug around the band but perfectly in the cups. The band has since stretched a slight bit which makes it much more comfortable. The bra provided good support, just the right amount of thickness and coverage. Highly recommended.
Super Comfortable while moving with your body
Most comfortable Merino underwear I have ever tried. I have sensitive skin and this bra is not itchy and very comfortable. Not restricting while hiking. The fabric has not stretched yet and I have been wearing it a lot for three months. Moisture wicking, breathable material. True to size - I got the Small and wear 34D
Fits great, color differences, sooo much packaging
I purchased in black and white/cream after already having the blue. They fit fine. The white/cream, one, though, is a a different color than shown on the site, The body of fabric is more tan than cream, and the bands/piping is light blue. Also, REI, PLEASE reduce the amount of packaging received via store pickup.I've tried to buy these in person, but these common colors/sizes are never in the store. I ordered online, for store pickup, and the amount of packaging was ridiculous. Each item was package separately, bags, boxes, padding, flyers. It was over the top. Do better please!
Multipurpose
I have always shied away from bralettes with thin straps because they cut into my shoulders. I gave this one a chance. Finally. A bralette that's cute with thin straps and doesn't leave me in pain. It fits true to size and is comfy. The fabric is super soft. I wear it for hikes and walks and lounge in it at home. So versatile. The bralette provides enough support for walking and doesn't spill you out. 34D and the medium fits perfectly all around. I can't even believe that this bralette exists. This is going to be a lifetime of purchase. While I'd like to add a con, I don't have any - honestly.
TOTAL WINNER
This is closest to the everyday bra I’ve been wanting every day for my entire bra wearing life. At 78, I would prefer two.hook and eyes for on and offing. I’m 5’6”, 165 -170, and 36 to 38 D and wearing size large. The girls would probable prefer an xl but there wasn’t one in black, not crazy about the other colors. Not sure why this simply little garment is getting the job done. After a lifetime of trying a plethora of contraptions and materials, this is it for me. My body loves merino for everything, everywhere, all the time. This bra is a great minimizer, btw. I’m calling corporate to make sure this offering isn’t a one-off. If it is, I’ll order and wear ANY color.
Buttery soft fabric, but not for larger busts
Ok, so to note, I bought this online and ended up returning it, but only because of the fit. The fabric was incredibly comfortable. Super soft, not itchy, and very light. My issue was the band being too tight. I'm a 40D and have been trying to find a merino wool sports bra or bralette that I like for ages, and this one was SO close. I was worried about it being a v-neck and spillage, but while I had it on just to make sure it wasn't going to work, I did the jump around/shake it out test and they weren't moving (a rare feat). Unfortunately the XL is not for super busty gals, and maybe one day they'll make it in a XXL or larger. If they do, I'll be first in line to buy it!
New Everyday Bralette
This is my new favorite bralette. I was toying with the idea of buying a merino bra, since all my old ones where wearing out, but didn't want to order one online without trying it on, since I'm am akward size (32 band, D-DD cup, so bralette styles are especially hard to shop for). Found this one when I was in the store looking for wool leggings, and was praying it would fit me and the Small actually did! So I bought like 3, and have been wearing them everyday since. Super comfy, adjustable at the shoulders, and no padding, which is a plus to me, but there is a little space for padding if you want it. Also, just a note on the odor absorbing qualities of wool: it is no joke. It will really help save wear and tear from frequent laundering.
I quit wearing all my other bras
Seriously comfortable and fits great. I bought one, then another, and two more. I love the colors and the fabric is super soft. With all the benefits of wearing merino, plus the fact that they’re so darned comfortable, I’ve ditched my old bras. The only criticism is that there is an inconsistency in sizing. I bought my first two after trying on in person. I later ordered two more (of the same size) online. I kept wondering why they were not quite as comfortable and so I compared them. The width was different by 1”. Which is a lot. I’ve returned those two and sized up to a Medium (also bought online) and they measure the same as my two original Small.
It's a big no for me
I wanted to love this bra as an alternative to the synthetic ones I normally wear. I purchased a Small based on the size chart. While this fits all of my stuff inside, the straps at their longest do not fit. The back sits super high on me and I cannot tug it down to be even all the way around. Perhaps they were made for the young who's bits still sit up at their collarbone? During a long hike, this becomes so itchy. So, its a very big no for me in terms of being able to hike in it. Now, it is wicked cute so maybe I just have to wear to the store and back and not for long hikes. Not sure I can chance being out and it turning into an itch machine all over.
