On the go luggage roller backpack
I used this my backpacking Europe trip and I must say, it's pretty durable. For a solo traveler, it's pretty good and it fits under/between the chairs in most trains. I traveled around Switzerland and this size was perfect! Some people had to stand outside the entrance because their luggages wouldn't fit in their seats. This would be the perfect size. I don't recommend it for 2 people though. I The only downside to this is that the rolling wheels didn't really have clearance. I wish they made the wheels bigger with more clearance from the ground. Also, it doesn't come with a rain cover. I just bought an REI raincover to protect it. Overall, I'm satisfied with the bag.
Great suitcase with backpack option
I had been looking for a bag like this for years -- a wheeled suitcase that can also turn into a backpack for those times when you're in a place where wheels don't work well (rough streets, lots of stairs, etc) -- and big enough to hold your gear for a longer trip. This is absolutely perfect! The wheels and retractable handle work great, and the backpack + hip straps are reasonably comfortable and balance the load well. I would definitely not use this for a real backpacking trip so don't get it if that's what you are looking for but for a suitcase that can convert to a backpack it's perfect.
Love it
I just bought and used this on a 3 week trip in Italy and loved it. You can fit considerably more than a carry on but it doesn't feel like a big suitcase either and it's nice and light. It's well designed with various pockets/straps, etc, and the wheels did great, even on cobblestones. It was very easy to maneuver around. We didn't need to use it as a backpack but really liked having that option. My partner got the men's version and loved that too. I don't often write reviews but wanted to share how much we liked these.
Amazing! Must buy!
Brought this on a 3 week trip to Europe and I was amazed! One of the best bags i have had. Rolled perfect and was able to throw on my back when I hit the cobblestone streets. Fit sooo much clothes and has many pockets. Highly recommend!!
osprey 65 L backpack rolling suitcase.
Loved the size weight of suitcase. I used this case traveling for 2 months across Europe. Case worked extremely well. The wheels never jammed and worked extremely well even in cobble stone or paved pathways. I did use packing cubes for organizing. But super easy to organize bag. Love the extra storage pockets. It would be cool to have an attachment to hang my backpack to suitcase while walking. Otherwise perfect. My husband used the backpack x1 he found them very easy to use.
Best bag ever!
I absolutely love this bag. It's my favorite piece of luggage I've ever owned. Clothes fit inside in the center section and cinch down tightly. This leaves tons and tons of space around the clothes for small underwear bags, toiletry bags, shoes, etc. The top pocket is also huge which works great for having some items in a separate compartment. I feel like the things others are not liking about the bag are what works best for me. I'm amazed how much I can fit into this bag vs a similar-sized plain rectangular bag. Now I'd like to get the smaller one as well!
No I will never even consider buying again.
The pack is a big disappointment. It has literally three dimension pyramid inside which is impossible to pack around it . it is part of the frame/telescoping handle but the design has fail to make a inside flat which is important to pack anything. The images and photos about the design do not show the inside pyramid in the bottom which should be flat for packing. To add to the problem the Osprey FairPoint travel pack that suppose to be attach to the pack was not accepted by the airlines. Evetime they made me check the travel daypack
Great travel pack!
I bought this wheeled travel pack (wheels and backpack!) for my daughter last year before a trip. We like is so much, I just ordered one for myself. It has plenty of space, with some useful subdivisions, and all of the straps tuck in efficiently so there's nothing flapping about loose to upset the airlines.
So close!
I really, REALLY want to love this travel pack--but there are a few misses for me and the single post handle is the reason for both. I don't like it one bit. First, it takes up a lot of room in the middle of the pack and makes packing awkward. But what I really don't like is that many times I don't want to carry the Osprey detachable daypack (which I also bought to 'piggyback'), I want to travel with a regular carry-on. The single post makes it impossible to thread the carry-on over the handle for easy transport. The carry-on is unable to balance and keeps sliding around and dangling from the post. I think if this pack would have the regular dual post handle, it would be pretty perfect. I still use this pack, just not as often as I envisioned when I ordered unfortunately.
Not worth it
Bought for extended trip to Europe. Ended up using my shuttle (even though I didn't need that much room) due to the size constraints of this bag. Very poorly designed with the handle being only in middle of pack, thus leading to the curve of the handle going through entire middle of inside of pack and losing over half of your packing space/volume. If the handle would have been the old style (bag I tried to purchase, but was replaced with this one), the dual tube handle braces on both sides and doesn't curve into middle of packing space leaving normal packing room. Over all I wouldn't buy again or even reccomended to anyone. It's way too big of a bag to lose over half of your packing volume due to poor design of singular tube handle being curved through over half of your gear space. Actual packing volume of this bag was what my 35L carry-on holds.
