Super products and outstanding service
I've only had these for a month and truthfully haven't worn them much because they are more cool/cold weather boot. That said, they are a very nice boot from a style perspective. They are well made and comfortable. It is a bit difficult to slip them into without a shoe horn because of the ankle height and elastic. I'm hoping that will break in over time but not so much that they fit sloppy. I did put an extra footbed in them as they were a bit larger than I'd would have liked. That made them very cushy inside and the fit is perfect now. The best part of my buying experience was dealing with the customer support team. They were very helpful working me through a shipping misunderstanding. Bogs makes great products and their team makes sure that you also get great service.
Comfortable and always high quality
This is the third pair of this very same shoe I've purchased. I stand on my feet all day making stained glass windows and I completely wore out the first pair going back and forth at my worktable for years. I ordered another pair and finally wore them out and now I have this new pair lined up to shift right into place. I'm 75 so my feet need all the tender loving care I can give them. Bogs is a brand that never lets me down. I know that when I order, I'm getting quality every single time.
Runs large - Consider a half size adjustment.
I wear a size 10.5 dress shoe, 11 sneaker, and ordered the 10.5, despite having read one review indicating the boots run large. Sure enough, my 10.5 was too roomy and I exchanged mine for a 10, which fits well with a dress sock. The foot bed could be a bit more cushioned (See Ecco by example) but I am very pleased with this product's appearance (suitable for wear either with dress slacks or casual jeans) and the customer service/exchange process, which was seamless.
No other footwear will do!
Purchased as a gift for my grandson for Christmas. He asked for them. He use to wear Merrills and sneakers, that was it, no other shoe would do. He's a 13 yr old that stand 5'9 and is almost 200lbs, so he needs something that will cushion his feet through out the school day. I cannot get him out of these boots. It's the only shoe he'll wear now. Even while playing football! I knew they were nice looking, but now I'm a believer in their comfort.
Look and feel good once on.
The shoes arrived in a timely manner and though the fit was tight, I tried them on immediately after receiving. Worn them now a half-dozen times, usually a couple of hours each time. The fit is good, a bit roomy, but with two thin pair of socks everything wears well. My only down-check is that pulling them on is still a bit of a challenge with the heel and upper not stretching quite enough to make them quick or easy to put on.
Comfortable and versatile.
My husband has flat feet and he has a terrible time finding comfortable shoes. We live on a horse farm and he needed some waterproof, comfortable shoes to wear outside at the barn, and also for walking the dog around the neighborhood. These fit the bill. He put them on the first day and announced, These will work." He went out in the mud, wiped the boots off with a damp cloth, and wore them to town for dinner. Thank you, Bogs!
Mixed results.
The initial purchase was great. Good service and fast delivery. The shoe appears to be high quality and I like the design. However, the size ran very big. I've never worn less than 8.5, but in this shoe it appears I need an 8.0. So far the return has been less than great. Sent back over two weeks ago and no acknowledgment or indication that I will get a replacement in the smaller size.
Third pair of Bogs. I'm happy
These are very good. Like the styling and functionality. Look nice with jeans or casual pants. Easy on and off. Waterproof and warm enough. Wish there was more Cush in the forefoot. Heal and arch are well cushioned but up front they feel a little hard. Otherwise I'd give these 5 stars. I'm and 8.5 or 9. Ordered 8.5 and they are perfect. Width is good for an average to wider foot.
Warmer than expected!!!
Great in between shoe for traveling and going in and out during our long winter. Comfortable, great, looking and much warmer than I expected. My only complaint is they are hard to get on and must be pulled on with loop in the back of shoe. Hopefully they will break in And will be able to slide on instead of pulling on. I doubt it though as the opening is pretty tight.
Happy in the True North
Bought these for Minnesota winter use. I'm in and out of my car and the elements all day long and needed something dress/casual as well as waterproof and durable. So far so good, they look great and are very comfortable. Great grip on slippery surfaces as well. I would recommend sizing down a size though. I wear a 13 normally and returned them for a size 12.
