Very comfortable, very lightweight
I picked up a pair of these shoes I'd never heard of after randomly seeing them in-store (mostly bc they were on sale for a good price) and it was the best REI purchase I've made in a while! Sometimes I feel like I've spent a bit too much money, but this was not of those times! I was extremely impressed that I was able to pick up these super light and pretty stylish shoes for ~$60, especially at REI. They are the perfect width for someone who has a slightly wider foot, but doesn't want to wear shoes that visually represent that fact. Usually I have to wear a ½ size up to accommodate the width, but these were perfect in the appropriate size and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Love them.
Sooo comfortable
I have not quite wide feet. Mainly I tend to need just a bit more room for my toes. I got these days before an event that would involve 30 miles of bicycling and 12 hours on my feet. I went with size 6.5 which allowed for socks and potential swelling. If I wasn't adding socks the 6 would have worked too. These are not a running shoe but great if you need to be on your feet for work, travel, etc. No flashy brand labels either which some work situatiions discourage.
Stylish, comfortable out of box + plant based!
Tried these on at the San Diego store & purchased the olive color, and after wearing them realized they are exactly what I need for fall: lightweight, comfortable, breathable, sturdy & a good "in between" shoe, to transition from summer sandals to cooler days & sock weather. Also a good looking shoe- more stylish than a sports/running shoe for casual wear. Liked them so much- I went online and ordered 2 more pairs (blue & black) at the sale price. They arrived quickly, and I've already worn the blue pair. Also intend to wear them for traveling- the weight is minimal for packing, they are well-cushioned for walking, and while they are slip-on for ease of security lines, the elastic laces create a more secure fit. Hoping the elastic will also expand for comfort during long/overseas flights when feet sometimes swell. I've been wearing w/low cut socks for now- they seem a bit on the loose side without socks. Hoping to add lightweight wool/calf height socks as weather cools. Another plus: They have removable insoles, in case you have orthotics. This is also good for travel- swapping out insoles helps keep tired feet happy after long days of walking. All in all- very happy with price, style, comfort, & fit- and being a vegan shoe is a nice added bonus. I've already recommended them to a vegan friend.
Great walking shoe
These shoes are cute, easy to put on, and comfortable. I need good support and wasn't sure these would work. They seemed too soft. I wore them all day and my feet felt great.

I bought these shoes on a whim in the store. Very comfortable. I suspect they will have good grip but I haven't tested that yet. They definitely run big.

Not for high arches
I really wanted to like these. Pros: ~ Cool (mesh upper would be great for those with sweaty feet or on hot days) ~ Lightweight ~ Blue is great color ~ Soles seem like they would have good traction (I'm returning so I can't say for certain as only wearing on carpet) ~ I have a fairly wide foot & these seem like they are wide enough for me. Cons: ~ For anyone with high arches/instep these may not be for you. The lace/elastic cord makes it tough to get them on. Tongue gets pushed down as I try to jam my high arch inside shoe. Once on, they are comfortable. I am afraid over time I would smash the back down (these are NOT the step-in or 'hands-free' type shoes that have a heel that springs back). This is a deal-breaker for me. I gave them 2 stars because once I got them on I liked them - but for me the process of pulling on back loop & pulling on the tongue loop just to shove my high arch against the elastic lace was not an option long-term.
