Too small

Too Small…normally wear a large Mountain Hardware hat, this (XL)one fits snug and does not cover my ears. Years past ,my Mountain Hardware caps have been fantastic . Mountain Hardware has really cheapened the entire product line to the point that they no longer offer items I want to buy. They once made a great polatec pants with a two front pocket and a wallet pocket that a non male supermodel could wear for casual use, now jackets with no inside phone pockets etc.

My favorite head covering.

I am generally not a big hat guy, but the MH Dome Perignon and Perignon Lite hats are my go to when it gets chilly in the winter or for crisp early mornings on the trail. Its soft, comfortable, and squishes down to fit into a pocket when I'm ready to take it off. Its also easy to wash and I like the variety of colors that are available.

Great protection on windy days

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hat has some great warmth and wind protection with the Windbloc around the edges to keep your ears warm. Since I work in the city, I typically have it in my bag for those windy days... which are usually exacerbated by the wind-tunnel effect on city streets. The only issue is that it runs small and the fit is a bit snug, so order a size up.

Warm and small profile

I had an older Dome Perignon hat years back that was toasty warm and perfect for the wind. I wanted to something similar but with less bulk. I picked this up prior to a 4 day backpacking trip and it worked well. Little smaller than the full size but does the job. Had some good winds and cold nights and this kept me toasty.

Doesn't Cover Ears!

I tried this hat in a Large, which fit my head well. However, it did not cover my ears as indicated above for full ear coverage. If you have a small head this could work for you. Great product otherwise, but not helpful for keeping my ears warm. I could size up to an XL but found something else that worked better.

Great for cold-morning runs; need to size up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice hat for cold-weather runs; I warm up very quickly on cold mornings. With this hat and a balaclava I can be outdoors in any conditions. Sizing seems way off though: size L was way too tight; switched to the XL and it fits nicely; my head isn't that big (although my wife will say otherwise)

Great windstopper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these hats, I have had a couple in the past, but I wanted a fresh new one. I live in a windy high desert climate and these are a must. I think they run small although I probably have a big head. I'm a 5'4 woman with a small to average build and I wear an XL in these hats.

Good Beanie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this little guy up to match my new MHW jacket. Normally not a big "matcher" but I don't like hooded jackets so I generally always wear a beanie. This little guy is light, windproof, and very soft on the inside. All around a good choice for lightweight head covering.

Very Warm, Breathes Well, Small Fit

I wear a 7 3/8 Hat Size, with close cropped hair and I was feeling a bit of the squeeze when wearing the medium size and didn't fully cover my ears. Would recommend sizing up before buying. Otherwise one of the better looking hats I own, and is very breathable.

A consolation buy

This hat is not what I was looking for, but I bought it as a second choice. For years, I have proudly worn your pillbox fleece hat. It was both comfortable and fashionable. Do you make it anymore??
