A rare disappointment
I’ve purchased this long sleeve top in the past and been really pleased with it. Unfortunately this time I’m so disappointed; the sleeves are disproportionately way too long. Makes the experience of wearing uncomfortable.
Seamless and soft as advertised
This is my second Sweaty Betty long sleeve top. My first purchase was in size small. I went up a size this time to a medium and I feel that the fit is a little better. I consistently wear a size small, for reference I’m a 34C 117 lbs, athletic build. The small in this style seems to run a little tight and rode up a wee bit. The medium fits better. Somewhat non form fitting and as others have written the sleeves are long. I don’t see this as a problem, the top has thumbholes or scooch the sleeves up a little bit. Top is soft, seamless, quick drying and comfortable. I recommend the shirt but perhaps size up for a more comfortable fit. BTW, the smaller size wasn’t more form fitting, just a smaller version of the top.
runs small
So i ordered S and M in white, both are a bit tight for me. I put then on top of each other. the chest and waist is literally the same size (the S may be even a smidge larger), the only difference is the sleeve length. I hesitate ordering L and XL to try, because maybe the only difference is in the sleeve and I definitely don't need longer sleeve (I'm normally S). I love REI and I'm providing this feedback just so you know how to improve.
Beautiful Warm Top
This is a beautiful, yet functional top ( IF you choose your size correctly). For reference: I’m 176 cm-60kg-34B. My usual SB top size is M. But based on reviews, many suggested sizing up. So, I ordered L. It turned out very loose on the waist and chest area. I swapped it for M. Perfect fit! Arms length nicely end on my wrists, It doesn’t ride up during my HITT. It seems this top is made for specific body type (tall, slender build, narrow shoulders and small chest). Stick to your normal size if you are that type. If you are curvy, or sporty/muscular build, with larger size bust (above B cup), then it’s wiser to size up. Medium thickness fabric, warm enough to wear for training in colder months
Love the Athlete Seamless Tank, Not this!
I have two Seamless Workout tanks and love them, but I couldn't believe how uncomfortable this top was. I am a size US 6 and purchased a M. The armpits were super tight, the chest was tight, but the waist was large. The weird sizing caused it to ride up into my armpits the whole time I was playing pickleball. It was so annoying, I finally took it off and just played in a sports bra! Sad because it seemed okay when trying on, but awful for actual movement. I would return, but I tore the tags off.

Great long sleeve top
This is a great top that fits true to size for me, I did go a size up for a looser fit but it sat funny on my shoulders, sort of rode up a bit so swapped for my usually size. They are fitted but super comfy, wick sweat away but also don’t show it either. I need to wear high viz for rowing so the brighter colours are great for that too. Perfect running top for when it’s a bit cooler and also just nice as a regular fitted long sleeve t-shirt as it is a flattering shape.
Rides up when running
Really disappointed with this top. I’ve owned several of these in the past and they have been perfect for winter running but this one is totally different. The material is lovely and soft but although it’s long enough in the body it rides up when I run. I have to pull it down every minute which is really distracting. Barely fit for purpose and something you don’t find out until you run in it and can’t return.
Hmm. Think twice!
Mm, ok…… over priced for what it is and the sizing isn’t for me. I have one in small which initially feels like it fits really well but rolls up during workout / kettle class so bought a medium.. fits ok (can’t tell the difference from small) but still rolls up… tried large… now too baggy and poor fit - would not buy again (lovely fabric) sadly as the sizing is rubbish

Excellent
I love this top. I have bought long sleeve athlete tops in the past, but this seems to be an upgraded version. The fabric feels smoother and the fit has been improved too. I like the long length sleeves as they keep my hands warm and the length of the top is just right. I usually wear it over an athlete vest to warm up, but it works as a workout top on its own.
Great fit but poor stitching
I'm a big fan of the fit and material. Perfect layer for cold weather runs and it stays breathable if it gets warmer in the sun. I'm disappointed with the stitching and that I didn't notice before I took the tag off. One of the sleeves is frayed and I suspect will unravel after a couple of washes. Not the quality I was expecting from SB :(
