Fantastic no-frills running hydration vest

Having had quite a few hydration vests over the years from Osprey, Salomon and Camelbak, I was looking for a lighter vest for shorter runs that would be cooler in the summer. The Osprey Duro LT checks those boxes. The light material on the back keeps me cooler than a traditional vest with more storage. The front bottle holders can hold both the included 12oz bottles and even the larger "standard" sized 20oz bottles. The rear pouch is open on both ends and can accommodate a light jacket, or I usually put my phone back there in a plastic bag to help balance the load. Front storage is limited to 2 small stretch pockets and a zippered pocket. The small stretch pockets will hold a few bars or gels without issue, but don't plan on taking a ton of nutrition. I think this pack is fantastic for 2-3 hour summer runs where I want to bring water and a gel or two, but not much else. Longer runs though, you'd want to look at a larger pack.

Fantastic running vest with limited capacity

I received this vest as a gift when I decided i wanted to get into trail running. In the beginning i was only going 2-3 miles at a time with limited elevation, and i was sucking these bottles dry. I love the style and fit of this vest and have enjoyed using it on shorter runs - i have successfully carrried, the two bottles, keys, lip balm, a small handkerchief sized Nomadix towel, Pro Max size iPhone and even slid a Patagonia Houdini in the back slot wihout issues. Very comfortable with a full tshirt (have not tried with a tank top, etc) and easy to clean as it gets soaked trough both front and back.

There is something wrong with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is something wrong with the sizing of this product. I am 6'2", 175 lbs and initially I had purchased a L which was way too big for me. So I decided to exchange it for a small. Even then, I had to pull the strings all the way to the edge and it was still big on me. Long runs with this pack were painful since the shoulder straps kept rubbing against my neck, resulting in pretty bad blisters. Now it's just sitting in my closet. There is a reason why this product is always on sale

So good, I have 2!

This vest is everything I want and need in a running vest. First, it's a good looking vest and it feels and looks great on me. It is extremely light weight and most importantly very breathable. Although this is a LT version, it still has plenty of storage for your phone, keys and gels. The collapsible bottles are secured with a drawstring. Sometimes the bottles become loose when they are getting empty but I've never had one fall out. I was happy enough with this vest that I got a second one to wear when the other is dirty. Speaking of dirty...my experience has been that it doesn't get odorous. I usually wear it twice before I give it a wash. I've had no issues with putting it in the washing machine and letting it air dry. I wear a medium. I'm a male, 5'6'' and 165lbs. The medium fits perfectly. I once tried a small and I couldn't even get it on. As for use, I usually use it for runs between 10-20 miles. I recommend this vest.

excellent choice for keeping it light

I wear a 42R jacket and most of my gear is large. For my frame the MD size worked best and i really enjoyed the vest. First day out did a 10 mile run and I was able to easily swap in the 500ml size, store essentials and really keep things light. thanks osprey.

I found it hard to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found it hard to find a vest with enough storage. The water is tricky and I ended up taking them out and using for extra storage. Perfect pack to fit IPhone Max, gels, and airpods. Used it for my half marathon and worked perfectly.
