My Go-To Workout Short
I loved these so much I bought 2 more pairs. They are my go to workout short. I use them for running, lifting, climbing, and just for hanging around the house. The zipper pocket is a great way to keep my phone secure while climbing at the gym. The other pockets provide a great place to put things when running errand without getting in the way while working out. I run or workout in these on a daily basis and they are proving to be really durable.
Great Shorts Overall
Great shorts for a variety of activities. So far I've used them mostly for casual stuff. Super impressed with the ventilation, keeps me cool on hot days. They are also very stretchy which I really like, especially while rock climbing or something like that. Stay comfy even with a harness wedgie (well, about as comfortable as any shorts could in that situation haha!). Make a great pair of workout shorts too. Pockets are also quite large, honestly a lot bigger than I was expecting, which I personally love because I always have lots of stuff I carry in my pockets. The zipper pocket on the size is great for when I'm more active because it easily fits my phone (Google Pixel 4, pretty standard size phone). can definitely fit a bigger phone in there though. Stretchy waist is nice too, not "choking" me but strong enough to stay up when my pockets are filled. Great shorts for basically any activity: casual or strenuous! Definitely would recommend.
Super comfortable and fresh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time buying Marmot products, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the shorts. They are very lightweight, comfortable and kept me cool during my workout, even though it was outside in the Miami weather. Only thing I would change to them is that they don’t have a drawstring in the waist.
Nice shorts for summer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice, somewhat stretchy material. It's a bit chamois-like, not super fast to dry, but still nice. There's no drawstring which might deter some buyers. You do need to get the size right on this one. I'm a 36 inch waist, happy with the large.
Good shorts with some shortcomings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pair of shorts. Great fit, I just miss having a drawstring. They are great for the gym or lounging. Biggest downside is you can't carry much in the pockets when exercising or they will start to slip down.
Workout Short
These are a great pair of shorts for working out. They have great range of motion and have been durable for me. I love having pockets, but for that reason view them as less of a running short.
Very light and comfortable
Good for riding the bike or going to the gym. I might say trail running but I don't do that. Not sturdy enough for hiking, don't want to go near anything rough or sharp in these.

Great airflow in a tough package
Bought my shorts on a whim and love all the mesh keeping me cool on many, many backpacking miles. Only wish is to make these in black or dark camo.
Kind if disappointed
I Really wish they kept the same material they used to use with the zephyr shorts. The ones from about 4 years ago were so much more comfortable.
