Perfect sun hoody
I love this hoodie! It is very light, easy to stash away in a pack and is comfortable in both hot and cool conditions (as long as there’s no humidity). The hood has enough space for a helmet too, and the colors are stylish. I am about 145 pounds and would normally wear small to medium but bought a large so it would be nice and loose.

This shirt is worth every penny!!
This shirt is a beast! I took it with me traveling through Japan for two months during the brutal summer. Boy, it really works! Not only did it protect my skin from being sunburned, it kept me much cooler. The sun and heat in Japan is absolutely brutal and this shirt really saved me. I can’t recommend it enough! The only downside is that I wish this came in more colors. I bought the grey and I was sweating so bad that my shirt was soaked on the back. Everyone could tell that I was a sweaty mess. But I felt cool and that’s all that really mattered. I definitely would recommend lighter color options so sweat is less noticeable though.
Rough Texture
I have several colors and versions of the Capilene Cool Daily shirts. Heathered and solid color, long and short sleeves, hooded and not. I ordered the Salamander Green and the texture is... off. It's very rough & thick under the fingers when usually the fabric feels light, slippery, and smooth. Will be returning this color and fingers crossed it was just a dud. Capilene Cool Daily shirts have been 5 stars until this one, I'd hate to learn they changed the fabric across the board!
Perfect shirt for hot weather and sun protection.
Wore this hoody daily for fishing in hot weather in Mexico. Was cool, light weight and when wet, dried quickly. Great shirt for the tropics.
Sunburn lifesaver
So comfortable. Helps you stay cool in the heat and warm when it's a bit breezy at night at camp. Definitely worth it! I am somebody that burns easily so having something long sleeve that is also breathable during the hot summer months is a must for me and this shirt is the best!

Good not great
This is a good sun shirt, but not as good as I had hoped for, nor as good as my other sun shirt from a different (and less expensive) brand. I like how light the material is, and how it feels next to the skin. I don’t like that it doesn’t have thumb holes to cover my hands, and that the hood is not as adjustable as I would like. It also doesn’t keep me as cool as my other sun shirt, which is kind of a bummer when the temps climb. Overall, it’s good, not great.

I hate heat and too much sun. I didn’t believe that a long sleeved shirt would be the answer to my problems but it is! Helped me comfortable survive the heat-with-no-shade three days of camping.
This is a must have!
Really love the fit of this hoodie. Blocks the sun well and the sleeves are generous in length for activities like fishing.
