Great light-weight and soft towel that works
I have used this towel this far on day hikes and daily in my camper while camping. It's the perfect size for many things, but large enough to dry you off, while maintaining a light packable weight and size. It's thick enough to be absorbent and still thin. Makes a great portable shower towel. Can't wait to take this backpacking, it will be great for those alpine dip dry offs.
Versatile towel
Overall pretty great towel. Lightweight and very versatile. Can take this thing anywhere. I have used it primarily after runs and hikes to towel off sweat. Super absorbent and dries very fast. The only issue I have with this towel is the size (I know it’s the “mini” version.) If you are looking for a towel to completely dry your body after a swim or shower, this might not be your towel. But if you’re looking for a minimalist towel, and don’t mind air drying a but, this is the one. Overall I would recommend this towel.
Versatile!
For being labeled as a mini towel it certainly doesn't act mini! The towel was longer than I expected (in a good way). Its a good inbetween size between a tea towel and a bath towel. The material is very soft and thin. I was initially wondering how well it would dry surfaces but I was pleasantly surprised. So far I have used the towel in my kitchen and to dry my car after washing it. When I washed my car I used a bath towel for half of the car and this towel for the other half. The Nomadix towel left fewer wet streaks than the bath towel, wasn't as heavy when wet, and was DRY after 20 minutes sitting in the shade (the bath towel was still wet). There is a built in loop that is good to hang the towel up (I think I could hang it from a thin branch when out camping and not worry about it weighting down the branch). I could also see myself bringing this towel along on beach trips with my baby. This towel is small but mighty! I would recommend!
Great towell for road trips
The Nomadix mini towell is a great product. I will start by saying that shortly after receiving the towel, my 3 year old daughter decided that she loved it and has not relinquished it. We have uaed it primarily on car trips and at the park. The size is great and it folds neatly to store in her backpack. Its extremely soft which she has been a huge fan of and it is absorbant enough to get her dried off. I also love that it doesnt hang onto lint or other items. The towel has worn well in the laundry and overall i think even if it wore out over the summer we would buy a replacement if we havent already grabbed a few extra. The only thing i would like to see different is if the towell came with a small storage bag of some kind but it folds up nicely into a ziplock baggy so that is a minor annoyance. Overall this is a great towell and i plan to grab a few more for this summer.
Surprisingly BIG Mini-Towel
I didn't pay much attention to the dimensions when I ordered this mini-towel - it is surprisingly big - bigger than a hand towel or tea towel. It's got great absorption, dries quickly, and is soft. Weighing 9.6 ounces, it's actually too heavy for me to take on backpacking trips but perfect for day hikes, especially where there are waterfalls or a river to cool off in along the way. I really want to get one of their Bandana towels (2 ounces) to use on backpacking trips now;I think it would be perfect for me to wipe off the layer of sweat and dust before going to bed.
Very pilly after first wash
Kinda bummed about this towel as I was excited to use for regular yoga use. I use this towel about 2-3 times a week for yoga. I gentle cycle or hand wash the towel in cold water and hang dry it but it came out super 'pilly' and lumpy after the first wash. Considering the price for a small towel, I thought the durability would be a bit better.
Quick-drying, versatile, and stylish towel
I really loved this towel and it's versatility. The towel effectively pulls off moisture while also drying extremely fast. To give you an idea of how fast it dries, I used it to dry off my feet after a creek crossing and then set it out in the sun while I drank a beverage. By the time I had finished my beverage, the towel was dry! Another great thing I love about the towel is that it doesn't really collect dust or dirt. I have used it to wipe off sweat and dirt after runs and bike rides and have dropped it in dirt and mud and the debris just shakes off. I also really like the cool designs and the elastic hook on the towel makes it easy to attach to a backpack or hydration pack. The size of the towel is also pretty ideal. It's big enough to dry off your whole body, but also small enough to easily pack (and it's super light-weight).
Odd size but works well
I now have 2 of these towels, the first is the smaller size towel which I use at the gym. The second is the full-size towel. I will be honest, the full sized towel dimensions are a bit odd to me personally - it’s very long and narrow. As a shorter person, I don’t necessarily need the extra length but would prefer some extra width. This is merely a matter of personal preference though. I love how light and packable the towel is and it serves its function well.
Perfect size for everything!
Honestly, the perfect sized towel for anything you'll need it for. I have a large microfiber body towel, but it's just so big and feels excessive for a camping trip. This is like a loooong hand towel. It's big enough to wipe down condensation inside your tent, or dry off your body after a swim in a creek or lake, but it's still small enough to clip on your pack and dry off as you hike. It's always the towel I reach for, and just the right size! The microfiber is also great to brush off sand/leaves/dirt without getting too dirty.
Awesome Towel
I bought this towel cause it looked cool and was super compact. This towel has done nothing but impress me so far. It dries super quick, and it dries me very quick also. It’s not super fluffy or soft but it dries with just a pat. It folds down to a size of about a softball. Great towel and great for traveling.
