Good fit and warm, but durability might be suspect
Fit great, like the chamois, warm, and good design elements. Straps are wide, waist has good give for when you're sucking wind. Chamois area is pilled after one or two rides though, so finish doesn't seem durable. Looks like an old sweater already.
Warm + good quality but a small chamois area
The quality of the material for the leggings seems pretty good and they are definitely warm, however, the chamois area is weirdly small in the back and only covers the lower parts of your butt. Other bibs I have from Craft and Cutaway typically give more padding higher up.
Great for riding and wiping out.
Extremely comfortable in mild and cold weather. Sweat-wicking and fleece lined. I have kept them on for 8 hours and they're only slightly less comfortable than sweatpants would have been. Road Rash Protection -- I don't see this advertised, but you should consider the safety factor of the bib you get. With these, you're getting a high quality, thick bib. I wiped out recently--a patch of gravel on the road-bike trail during a curve--and hit the ground hard enough to break my femur. My whole side got super scraped up except for where I wore this bib. Not a scratch on my skin anywhere covered by the bib, and not a single scratch on the bib. (And I know I smacked my leg on the ground cause of the whole broken femur thing and my messed up ankle.) You get what you pay for, and the slightly higher cost for high quality gear is worth it. Anyway, these are great for their obvious purposes (warmth and comfort). But they're also great for improving the outcomes of an accident, which I didn't realize was something I needed in a bike bib. As bad as a broken leg is, I'm extremely grateful I spent the extra money on a high quality bib because my condition could have been even worse.
Size up!
I got the large and the extra large because I was worried about the size. I wear a large in everything and it was way too tight. The extra large is good, but the legs are longer and I have to scrunch them up. I’m 5’10 about 180lbs. But I used it on a 26 degree ride and was extremely comfortable so I’m keeping it.
Well made, great chamois, snug fit
Very well made. Fit is really snug, no way would I go any smaller. For me (an old guy) this is for cool weather use, not warm enough for actual winter temps. (Although it would be easy to add a layer over it.)
