Ridiculously Breathable
This is a fantastic all around jacket, the fit and cut makes it look super casual and much less technical than it really is. It's a great around town jacket, but where it really shines is on those soggy runs. Living in Oregon, I decided to fork out some extra cash this year and invest in a breathable waterproof running jacket. First I tried a highly reviewed "breathable running rain jacket" from another company and I turned into a puddle the first time I wore it. I was so drenched in sweat that I may as well have just been in a t-shirt, so I immediately returned it and replaced it with this cloudburst. With the two chest pockets unzipped, this thing is so breathable that you might forget you are wearing it. Adding to the comfort is the weird soft shell material that feels very nice against the skin and isn't crinkly or crunchy sounding like other waterproof materials. My only complaint about this jacket is regarding the collar, it's very stiff and my neck stubble tends to get stuck in the material if I zip it all the way up. A hood would have been nice too, but those gripes don't change my 5-star rating, this jacket is fantastic.
Not waterproof
It’s a really comfortable, lightweight, and well-constructed jacket, but it is not waterproof as advertised. The shoulders completely soaked through to my shirt underneath after 20 minutes spent in moderate rainfall.
Impressed!
Very high quality jacket. The fabric is soft to the touch. Really light and non restrictive. I bought this for on the bike but after getting it, I think it will be my go jacket!
Worthwhile
Well made and worth the dollars. Only annoyance is the left handed zipper (European style). Very happy with the purchase.
Great for rainy day
Light rain shell, wind and water resistant. Do wish had a chest pocket.
