The Sheath Lasted One Day.

Took this on a short climbing trip and by the end of the first day (5 single pitch sport routes or so) there were spots 5 to 10 feet from the end where the sheath was worn out. I am incredibly disappointed by the rope.

Amazing and Affordable Gym Rope

I have purchased three of this rope over the past year and a half as my go to rope for instructing and recreational indoor lead climbing. It is durable and feeds very well. It does not have a bad "memory" if you shove it into your bag and resists kinks and twists well. Very pliable without feeling too soft. The durability is great, a rope lasts me 6-8 months of instructing and recreational use 5-6 days a week, multiple hour sessions. The price just can't be beat! The 9.5mm diameter is a wonderful size in my opinion and the elongation/stretch for larger climbers is just right in my opinion, especially if doing as quick top-rope follow. With the eco-friendly we care option, anyone can find an amazing color they love that is unique and great for the environment!

Best Rope Ever

Honestly I have two of these & I would buy 15 more if I had the cash. They’re supple, but durable, lightweight & they don’t require a ton of “first use” maintenance like most ropes I’ve used. They don’t get all twisted up & cause tons of headaches, they’re ready for a send the day you get them in the mail. And honestly, who can say no to a little “mystery prize” action!? The color is different every time & we’re all saving the world by buying them. Buy one. Buy one more for your best friend. Buy another for your grandma. Can’t get enough of this rope.

Nice Feeling Rope

I picked this up during the Memorial Day sale. I use it for tree rappelling and it works just fine for me.

Great rope for the $$$

Typical excellent Mammut rope. I have two ropes, this one and a 9.5 Crag Dry. This "We Care" has a fairly supple hand, about the same and at 1/2 the cost of the Crag Dry. It's a great rope for regular use in good weather. Mine shows little wear, tho it only has about 2 months of once a week use outdoors in SoCal. I've seen these in slightly different colors because of the leftover yarns used. Mine was kind of light lime green and tan with other colors. It looked good and it was uniform end to end. The center mark shows the most wear and it's not too bad.

Poor rope integrity

I got the 60m for gym climbing and after 4 months and minimal use, the sheath frayed and rope was unusable. I don’t recommend this rope for anyone looking for a durable and long lasting rope. If you don’t plan to take any falls, this would be a fine purchase. Otherwise, I don’t trust it.

Excellent rope at an excellent price

I ordered this rope as my first climbing rope, and when it arrived, it was a rainbow of bright colors, absolutely beautiful. Other than it being pretty, it has been a real mule at the crag - whether it be getting pulled over limestone as a top rope or getting stretched across sandstone on a multipitch in Vegas. It has gotten dirty with use, but it is the perfect thickness to be used for repelling, belaying, and holding onto good knots. I think my next rope will be a 70m instead of a 60, but I will be sticking with the crag we care classic for years to come!
