Tough to get foot through
The compression was only at the waist and the ankles, which made it tough to get my foot through. Tough isn't the right word. I needed help. I wear compression socks and have some nonathletic compression hose that I dawn daily. These tights were 10 times more difficult to get my foot through than any other compression item I currently own. What's worse was that the rest of the tight fit like my regular spandex tights, without notable compression. I followed the sizing chart and can't imagine that a larger pair would have any compression and a smaller pair might cut off the circulation to either my feet or right at my waist. I also tried a pair of the men's, thinking that perhaps they were allowed more space for their bigger feet and square waist, but I had the same problem with getting my foot through. It's possible these just don't fit my body type, though I don't have unusually large ankles. Sadly, I'll have to stick with the grandma hose. Returning them today.
They run Small.
I am 5'5" and weight 116 pounds. I don't fit in a Small. Returning them because they run small. Otherwise they feel well, very good materials.
