Great stable shoe for running trails with my lab

Great shoe for a great price! Very well made, stable and stylish. Felt great right away --no wear in time. Good for running moderate trails in the woods with roots and rocks and paved bike paths (about 25 miles per week). Would be good on roads as well. In the winter or muddy conditions, I would wear with nano-spikes since the tread would not tolerate very slippery conditions. The padding around the ankle feels cushy and the lacing system is great. Moderate weight good for long slow distance. In the past, I have bought Merrell, Brooks and Asics trail shoes, but after this would definitely buy Saucony Guide 13 again.

Too stiff for me?

Didn’t work for me. I used to wear saucony, perhaps I’ve changed too much over the years, but they made my whole body sore. In fairness, my knees have been bothering me. Anyway, I took them to rei for refund, and I ended up doing a wonderful exchange, the shoe guy there was SO helpful. LOVE REI!

Great sale price and super shoe.

Great shoe. Hadn't bought this brand before but glad I did. Bought a half size larger and fits perfectly. Took out the insoles and replaced with insoles I rely on. Great fit, enough toebox room, good support and cushion, plus the shoe doesn't hold grass stains like other shoes.

LOve these shoes!

Not sure why these received a couple of bad ratings. IMO they have great cushioning and arch support. Also, seem to be well made and up to Saucony's usual high standards.

sadly surprised

surprised of the lack of quality. No cushion and tight to the fit. My feet were uncomfortable just even playing golf in them.
