Geezer friendly

If a low-tech 72 year old geezer like me can make this dadgum thing play music—it must be pretty incredible…

Not great

I really wanted to love these - the idea of not having to deal with earbuds getting all waxy and being able to still hear my surroundings on a run seemed like a win-win. However, I had quite a few problems with these. First, they were obviously not designed for people that wear glasses (or those that wear sunglasses) as they hit right at the same place and that meant that the pads couldn't sit on my jawbone right and I couldn't really hear anything. They also weren't very secure, and even if I pressed them into my jaw, the sound is ridiculously quiet I can imagine treadmilling or running next to a busy street with these on. The back band also hits right where I have to have a low bun if I want to have a hat on, so now thats two things I can't wear these with - a hat or my glasses. Low pony was also a no go, and since I have shorter hair thats really my only option. Overall these seemed to be poorly designed and seemed like they didn't even bother to test with glasses wearers or folks with longer hair. I wish there was an option where the neck band didn't hover up behind the head, but laid around your neck like a beats flex type pair of headphone do as I think that would help (as its also impossible to lean back on a chair with a headrest with these on as they will get pushed right off, so no go on planes, in bed, etc). Overall for the price, these really left a lot to be desired. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 0 is that the quality seems great, and the warranty can't be beat.

They're good!

Bought them for my workout sessions and listening to music/videos while out doing stuff. Obviously audio quality can't be compared to in-ear headsets but the quality of these are clear and crisp, voices sound clear and music can be enjoyed. I have to keep the volume low, as the headset will start tickling my bones if its too loud or bass-y (naturally). Setting them up was very easy and it connected very fast with both my phone and my laptop. Battery life is very good! One charge lasts me 2-3 weeks, I use them for about 1hr. each day. They jiggle a bit when I run and jump but they've never fallen off my head. It can be a bit awkward when I wear my glasses but I don't wear glasses when I exercise. I've used them for the occasional voice or video chat and it seems the voice quality is the same as a normal phone call.

Perfect for cycling

I've been riding with these for six months, and am very happy with them. The audio quality isn't perfect, but this comes with the HUGE benefit of being able to hear what is going on around you. The funny thing is that if you wear earplugs with these (or stick your fingers in your ears!), the audio quality will match most in-ear headphones. Battery life is very good. I have used them for more than five hours, so it seems that the claimed life of 6 hours is realistic. I've also left these "on" (but inactive) for a day or two at a time, and the battery is still reported as "high". I wear these while MTB, which involves a lot of sweat and dirt (and occasional rain). I've experience no issues with either dirt or moisture.

great purchase

I wasn’t sure if I’d like bone conduction headphones but these are awesome. They are perfect for running, biking, and even just walking my dogs in the city because I can hear my music or podcast clearly but can also hear my surroundings well. They’ve also been great for work. I definitely recommend these. My only knock is that the battery life is only 6-7 hours but this isn’t a huge deal because I can just charge them at lunch or something if I want to wear them to/from work and all through work.

Exceeded my expectations

Due to my own carelessness when I was a much younger soldier, I caused permanent hearing loss in my left ear because I ruptured the eardrum in that ear. I’ve been trying to get into a hearing loss center right here in Laredo, but I haven’t yet. When I heard that the technology is based upon hearing aid tech, I figured what the heck, I’ll give it a shot. Today was my 1st time to use these and I’m excited to say that I can hear out of the left side of my head for the 1st time in many years. I’ll likely wear them all the time and Invest in their top of the line version later on, they have longer battery life, and higher rated sound quality, etc.

I bought these for running.

I bought these for running. The sound is just what I need. I was apprehensive about something that goes around the head (I wore true wireless bids with ear hooks before this). It does get annoying trying to find the right placement (especially working around my hair (long/curly), hat, sunglasses, and ear warmer when applicable), but I’m getting by just fine. It would be awesome if these were adjustable on the over-ear part (so I could hug them closely to my ear) and if they did not wrap around the head. They felt heavy and weird at first, but even by the 2nd run, they felt much better. Overall I’m pretty happy so far! Had them about a month now.

100% customer for LIFE

Always struggled with keeping any style of headphones in my ears. I have tried AirPod Pro, Beats, Soundcore, Jabra, Solo, etc. In-ear, in-ear with strap around the ear, a lot of styles and brands and each of the “sizes” to try and fit my ears for a solid fit….failure.I am active and love to listen to music and books when I’m running or biking, all types of headphones always fall out of my ears after minutes of using them. And they absolutely won’t stay in for a second after I’ve worked up a good sweat. With these, I don’t have to worry about anything falling out of my ears with how intense my workouts are. Long battery life too. These are Perfect!

Great phones with some really annoying Bluetooth features

I love these headphones and use them every day, but be warned that there are some nag features that you can't turn off that kind of ruin the whole experience. When the battery is low, the Bluetooth voice will repeatedly tell you so every couple minutes until the headphones die. This basically ruins the last half hour of listening. Worse than this, if you are paired to multiple devices (or even just one) and you step out of Bluetooth range, the headphones will beep at you every 30 seconds until you get back in range. I can't imagine who would want either of these features, but I hope they at least add a way disable this stuff in a future version.

Just okay sound quality

I would actually like to give 4 1/2 stars. The first day I really thought about returning them because the sound quality is not amazing. But I gave them a shot and wore them around town. I decided to keep them because it is so nice being able to hear my surroundings everywhere I go. The call quality is also really nice, and people say they can hear me clearly on the other line. I am keeping them for these reasons. They are also comfortable to wear all day, and I think the pink and white look cute and unique. Everyone is going to prioritize different things, so if amazing sound quality is most important to you, it is probably best to look elsewhere.

More uses than I expected

I love listening to music around the house, but my family can't deal with the constant sound. I bought these for fun and to let me talk to my family while listening to music. For this purpose, Shokz have been everything I hoped for. I was surprised to find they also work very well for phone calls. My wired apple headphones have stayed in the drawer ever since I bought these. The mic doesn't work quite as well as apple in windy conditions outdoors. Otherwise they're great. I also love that they do not fall off. I did my entire weight lifting regimen, including crunches, bicycle crunches, double crunches... you get the idea. My Shokz stayed in place.

Wanted these to work

I want to love these but I can't. I bike or run commute to and from work so I thought this would be awesome because hearing my surrounding early morning or late night would be great. I talk to my dad every commute and we both have a hard time hearing what the other says. I have to scrunch my neck and tilt my head to get some of the conversation. It's a bummer. The battery life is good, quick charge, blue tooth doesn't eat my iPhone battery down but it just doesn't work for me. Great concept to hear your surroundings, I really really wanted it to work. It's a 3 for me because it doesn't fit me properly but the product seems reliable,
