Smaller than expected
I bought these shorts for multiple uses.i normally wear a 38 inch waist and decided to order a 40 inch so that would fit better, since past experience has taught me that the sizes run smaller. The waist was comfortable but around the thighs it is very tight reminiscent of the tight shorts worn by school coachs. it seems that the shorts are made for people who don't play sports like Soccer or football, lift or ride MTB. Any one sport that grows thighs. Fortunately the material allows it to stretch so if you dont mind it tight it'll work.
Need better colors
Nice quality and fit, but the colors shown are in reality much darker. In fact one was returned for not even having the looks of the color I ordered. The blue should say: dark navy, the green: dark army green, and the light blue: dark teal. But these shorts are well made and very functional; and have the nice feature of having both belt loops and a way to tie it.
Great shorts
As suggested, I ordered one size smaller, and they fit perfectly - so the size 36 is maybe more like a size 37. I like the slightly stretchy material, and the zippers/buttons/stitching all seem to be of high quality such that the shorts will last for years of comfortable wear.
Rugged and stylish!
I knew when I saw the button design on these shorts I was "all in". Seems like these will last years of wear like my other pairs of MHW shorts. This particular pair is very versatile for hikes, swim if desired, or wear to a casual dinner.
Fantastic versatile shorts
I have every color- I run, bike, workout, golf, lounge, even dress them up- really great fabric and great fit. Cannot believe they are on close out- trust me buy a pair!
Do I even need a shirt?
These shorts are so good that they're all I wear, no shirt, no hat, no socks, no nothing just Yucca Canyon shorts. I'm a pleased man.
