I wanted a lighter weight summer shoe version of the Moab 3 mid waterproof which I absolutely love! The Siren Sport 3 was what I was looking for to wear during the summer months. Great for light hiking, and dog walking jaunts through the woods and fields with my crazy Vizsla! Comfortable right out of the box. Great arch support and good for my plantar fasciitis. Just a heads up…you might want to go up a size as some have stated. My Moab’s are a size 8 1/2 so I ordered 8 1/2 in the Sirens. They seem to run a little shorter. Would have liked to try a 9 but didn’t have any left. I think the 8 1/2 will be fine but seems to run a little small overall.
Love these shoes, they are super comfortable and were great for hiking and wearing for all day travel through multiple airports.
I have used a version of this shoe for probably 20 years. Every few years they make my favorite color (black and purple) and I buy a few pairs. They are comfortable, support my feet so well, and work for everything. I can go walking for miles in the woods, strut down NYC sidewalks, summer or winter, sun or ice and snow, play clothes or nice clothes - they work for everything! I have excellent feet health and I attribute it all to these shoes. I will wear them to the end if they keep making them!
I bought the Siren Sport 3s in Moonrock in July the DAY before my 6 day vacation in Tettegouche State Park MN. I had been looking for a hiking shoe/boot combo that was comfortable, not overly stiff, breathed well and didn't feel like my feet were trapped. These were it. I had been looking for so long that I didn't have the opportunity to break these in before the trip and it didn't matter. I went for a 7.5 mile hike across varied terrain the 2nd day there and was comfortable the ENTIRE time. I went up 1/2 a size because I knew my feet would swell and I wanted to stay comfortable (and I did). Definitely Recommend.
This shoe was new into my local sporting goods store. I tried on 3 different brands but this one was the stand out. Super solid, great support, Vibram sole and waterproof. What more could a girl ask for? Oh, and they weren't flourescent! I wore them out of the store they were that comfortable. Will use these for everyday walking and light hiking until it snows. FYI.....I bought the 'wide' since the store clerk said they run narrow and the wide fit me perfectly (I don't usually buy wide.) I have a very old pair of Moab hiking boots that I still wear. Merrell makes a great porduct.
Bought these shoes recently and unfortunately they didn’t last 20 miles on the trail before the midsole collapsed. The last 10 miles I noticed that I was having arch pain and foot bed pain. My husband walked behind me and notice my foot was collapsing. I ended up switching to Moab 3.
I love Merrells and have been a loyal customer for over a decade. Their trail glove line has been a trusted staple on my travels, but I wanted something with a bit more traction. While these do fit the bill in that regard, and the moonrock color is so lovely, overall I’m just really unhappy with the fit. I sized up to accommodate thick hiking socks, but even with the thinnest socks these are a tight squeeze in the toe box. They’re also really bulky and heavy, so they look unappealing on, and my feet are fatigued after just a few hours of walking. I’m stuck with them because I didn’t try them out immediately and thus missed the return window, but these just really make me second guess my love of the brand.

They are very comfortable. I am on my feet most of the day and have found that sneakers are not very supportive. So far these have been very supportive. I like the color (peach and stone), but would have preferred the black and purple ones since I am in a medical profession. I tried the work clogs but they were horrible. I could not wear them, they hurt my feet so bad I would change into old sneakers at work. I wore these the first day and I did not have an ache in my feet at all. One of my boss' commented that my shoes were good looking. I am pleased with them. If this company will get the black and purple Siren Sport 3 out again I will buy them as my work pair and use the others as my everyday walking shoe.
The fit is great, love the wide width options to accommodate winter socks. However, this is my 2nd pair and the stitching has come undone around the pinky toe on both pairs. Had that not happened, I'd rate them 5 stars.
Shout out for my siren sport shoes! Wore them recently on a trek in Pennsylvania to Hawk Rock and Appalachian trail. Great shoes for a very rocky trail!
We hope you enjoy many adventures in your Merrells!
