Velcro = No
Another reviewer mentioned the velcro and I do agree and after quite a few runs, the velcro is already weak and becomes loose, making me have to constantly re-adjust. This would have worked way better if they had a snap closure, but for a brand that is supposed to be pretty good, they could have thought of a better closure system, the velcro is literally two thin strips that run parallel to each other, which isnt enough to handle jostling. The pack itself is great, but since I keep having to tighten the velcro, it gets 1 star.
This will fit your firearm.
Lightweight and comfortable, the straps provide nearly infinite adjustment. I carry my ruger LCR with a speed loader and room to spare. With a pistol that size the water bottle makes a good counter weight and it doesn’t not flop around or shift very much at all. I have found that my Glock 17 would also fit if I felt the need to drag it around. The cell phone pouch fits my iPhone 12 Pro with a quad lock case and Velcros shut. If you have a bulkier rubberized case on your phone it may not fit. My only complaint is the key slot in the front. It will not fit any modern key fob and it doesn’t stretch so that you could stuff one in. But there’s enough room in the pouch for your keys anyhow.
Good pack but sizing and belt is suspect
This is a decent pack. It's a great size overall, bottle is good. However, do not trust the sizing. I doubt it would accommodate a waist bigger than 34 inches, even though it states 40 inches. The velcro belt is unimpressive as well. That stated, if you are a petite person who doesn't jostle much when running, this will be a great pack for you. If you're an average person with a dad/mom bod, it's likley not going to work for you.
