Life saver and functional with zippers

Excellent, I had bought this for a Class II and Class III white water rafting trip. Fortunately did not need it for an emergency however, when I went for a swim I immediately was floating and the life vest made sure I was on my back with feet and head above the water. This was engineered well and I found the zippers to be a huge deal for placing my waterproof phone, small tube of sunscreen and a snack in the life jacket. I chose orange as that color is most visible in water. Funny enough two of the tour guides pointed out this jacket as being top of the line. Which I did not know but they all had this brand of life vests as well. The jacket also has reflective taping which is important.

Excellent

Very happy with this. Pockets just right for phone and a waterproof case, keys and cards. Pockets have outer mesh pockets, which are perfect for a Powerbar or small items Also has several useful tabs that I use for a paddle leash or retractor for fishing accessories, Hidden pockets to store, shoulder straps, perfect for pocket knife with a clip or whistle on a lanyard. Padding relatively slim compared to some other PFD‘s Been very comfortable on hot days even with the full back which has been very comfortable in my kayak against the backstrap. Plastic tab is placed ergonomically to hold a knife Which I would highly advise for any kind of a river trip or even if you’re going to use an anchor at some point for fishing being I had one get caught up years ago on a river, the current pulled the boat sideways, and I started taking on water and I would’ve probably lost the boat and a lot of fishing gear if I hadn’t been able to cut the line. I have numerous PFD‘s and this is currently my favorite so far

Excellent Type III PFD

This is one of the best life jackets I’ve ever owned. This PFD is a Type III with intended uses for paddling and sailing, and I use it for both purposes. It is very comfortable and the sizing is forgiving. It doesn’t ride up when you’re sitting down, which is a huge plus for paddling especially. I will be purchasing extras to keep in my sailboat for guests. I ordered M/L and I’m 5’4’’ and about 170 lbs.

Good for Women that want better pockets!

I am female and chose the men’s version which is identical to the chick version but has much better pockets that close with zippers. The women’s version just has slip in pockets which is weird IMO. Very comfortable and not hot.

Ronny pfd review

I just got this pfd and wore it for a 5-day kayak trip in Maine. It was very comfortable and the pockets held my vhs radio and assorted gear very easily with room to spare.

Comfortable for Kayaking

A very comfortable and functional PFD. Thin and well ventilated back along with easily adjustable fit prevents this PFD from riding up during a long paddle. Highly recommend this.
