Nice down vest
I am 5 10 185 lbs 46 1/2 chest XL fits nice an snug. I use it as a mid layer in the mountains. I fit 2 shirts under easily thick or thin so its not tight. It has a longer tail that goes past my waist really nice keeping wind out. Its nice as a stand alone when just your core needs a little warmth. Never bunches up under jackets or other layers very comfortable an warm.the material is thin an light so you cant use in brushy areas i feel it would rip.
The vest is the best
I love having a vest. Its a great way to stay warm without restricting arm movement and they pack up super small. I used this on two trips guiding Denali's West Buttress route. I used it the most at breaks to layer over a soft shell jacket so I wouldn't get cold while resting. When it got super cold, I would layer up with this under my jackets to start with and it would keep my core warm (and therefore the rest of my body) all day without overheating like I'm sure I would have with a full mid-layer down jacket. I see myself using this a lot during the ski season this year on resort days. ***Member of the Big Agnes Athlete team***
Too small.
I normally take an xl but this was very tight on me. Had to return it.
