Practical and Stylish
I just purchased these for my 2 year old to really wear during the winter/snowy months. I ended up using them on a wet and chilly Halloween night for Trick-or-treating. My initial concern was that they would be too loose for so much walking/running because they felt a half size too big. They worked out great! My daughter was able to put them on by herself, run around from house to house, run in the wet grass and through puddles. Her feet were warm and dry when we came home and I didn't worry about them getting dirty because they are machine washable. The only reason why I have not given these boots 5 stars yet is because I still have to wait and see what they are like in the snow.
Some Good Some Bad
I love the fact that the bogs are lined! Perfect for our cool spring & fall. I also love how easy the bogs are to put on, the opening with the Velcro at the back certainly aids in that. However, that opening is much too low! My son played in a tiny puddle of water and his feet were soaked because that opening just isn't high enough. The boots also take FOREVER to dry. If we play outside today, forget about using them tomorrow as they will still be soaked inside. I bought these boots thinking they would be the absolute best for a toddler who loves mud and puddles, wrong!
Amazing
We live in a farm and we're looking for quality winter boots for our girl. She's almost two and loves being outside no matter the weather. We've had a lot of rain so far this year and the cheaper boots that you get at farm supply stores just weren't cutting it. Her feet were cold and no support. I took the plunge and ordered these and am so happy I did. They're true to size, comfy and cute! My daughter loves them and so do I because they keep her warm and dry during chores. Even through they're expensive they're worth it.
Serious sticking problem
These boots are the only ones my 4yo daughter with sensory challenges will tolerate. It's her 4th pair. We purchased these about two months ago, and something is different about them. The snow sticks to them and builds up to the point where she's slipping and falling all over the place. I assumed it was just the snow conditions the first time, but it happens 9/10 times. The top lining on the insole came off after the first week of wear, too. They're getting two stars because they're good for rain and mud. Disappointed.
So sorry about that I have emailed you a prepaid return label to return them if you'd like.
Beautiful Little Boots
These are my granddaughter's first boots and they are adorable in size 4 which is the smallest size. Although she is not walking yet, hoping they will still fit in the early spring for toddling through puddles. Very cute and look warm to wear in the chilly weather. She just got them so can't comment on long term warmth yet. Easy enough to put on and off with the Velcro strap in the back and the wide range of colors works well with her outerwear. They may be a yearly gift from this New England grammy!
This is our third pair of Baby Bogs because we love them.
Best boots for my 3 year old girl. She can take them on and off by herself. They are secure for rough and tumble play at the playground at daycare. I know she will stay warm and dry all day through late fall, winter and early spring. I would prefer a few other solid color choices as I am not really into the patterns. We had just purple Baby Bogs last year that we loved and she wore them almost every day. With only purple pattern options this year, she isn't wearing them as much.
Love bogs just not in love with this boot.
Boot height is good. My toddler told me they did stay comfortably warm. But the sole of the boot tends to be slippery. I would opt for a pair of Skipper Bogs over these after trying them. The skipper sole has more grip to it, the skipper boot Weights a little more, but does not seem cumbersome. Bog boots are my boys go to boots, when when other brands are available (we've tried brands like hunter) for style, comfort, and ease of putting on the boot Bogs wins every time.
My son seems to like it
I like the boots. My son likes them as well, but it is a little too short on the leg part, so when he plays on snow I have to watch out so he doesn't get some snow in the boot. Someone has written a misleading comment that the polar bear pattern is smaller than shown in the website. I compared the actual product to the website images and they are the same size. Whatever you see on the screen is what you will get on your boots.
Cute and comfy!
Super cute and comfy for my 14 month old who has been walking a couple months(Size 5). We have a farm so she needed something to keep her warm and dry playing outside! My only complaint is how low the back Velcro area is. First puddle stomping adventure caused them to fill with water since it's only about 2" from the ground, but it does help them go on and off. They dried hanging upside down for a couple days
Very cute
I bought these for my son & while they are very adorable & we love bogs in dissapointed in the quality. The stitching above where it says bogs is different on both boots & looks as if it could come unstiched easily on one of them. I could return to the store I bought them from but I'd have to re order them and pay for shipping all over again.. so I guess we keep them and hope they hold up.
