Best bag for the essentials!
Love this bag! The perfect size for phone, small wallet, chapstick, hair ties (the essentials). Brought this bag to Europe and felt secure with wearing it under my jackets. Also love the material, keeps things dry on wet days. Perfect purse for someone looking for a bag that can be used on the trails or in the city!
Passport and wallet? CHECK!
A small little carry-all which carried me through Europe as my got-to necessities sack. Big enough to keep both my passport and wallet safe at all times yet didn’t get in the way of a larger backpack or my summer daily outfits. The adjustable straps are thin but didn’t rub my shoulders or neck raw. Could keep the bag high as a cross-body where it was always close to my chest as I sight-seed and backpacked. Appreciated the “feel” of the bag, unlike the designated “passport sleeves” that you can sometimes forget about. This was highly practical and at the same time fashionable.
Unimpressive Bag
This bag is just okay if you want something affordable with the Fjallraven tag, otherwise not worth the purchase. Strap is too narrow, digs into your shoulder. Bag is barely big enough for my iPhone 11, a credit card, and keys. Overall it’s just not very functional. I bought a sling for my teen from another brand, it has a nice 2” wide strap that fits comfortably across the shoulder and works great around the waist. I was hoping for something similar from this bag & what I got was a disappointment. I have 2 starts because I do love the orange color, the fabric is nice & overall well constructed.
Perfect as a small tote.
This product holds my iPhone Pro Max 13, a card case wallet, passport, spare change, and small sunglasses. It’s not meant to be a large tote, just something for bare essentials. This little bag boasts Fjällräven’s excellent build quality, and is absolutely ideal for airport security checkpoints. It’s water resistant, and can wipe clean if you accidentally spill something on it.
Want to love it.
I’ve been looking for a small bag to carry essentials through the airport. This one Carrie’s what I need—size is just fine. The bag is designed to be flexible in how you carry it—straps are moveable. What’s not great, in my opinion, is the strap connections feel weak. I wouldn’t feel safe carrying this in a crowded city. It feels as though someone could grab it easily and the straps wouldn’t hold. Size-great. Security-meh.
Buy for Travel; Use Every Day
Bought this as a travel bag and ended up using it everyday. It is a great little bag. I carry a small, slim wallet, keys, etc. My phone also fits inside. but I typically carry that in my pocket. I wear the bag cross-body and hang my sunglasses case from the strap. I am an older woman with neck issues that require me to lighten my load and this is absolutely perfect for me.
Needs redesign
The clip holding the strap to the bag doesn’t stay attached meaning I had to pay close attention to not lose my bag. If they would redesign making the strap permanently attached this would be 5 stars, the bag is the perfect size to fit exactly what I need.

This bag seemed a little expensive for how small it is, but it has been just so perfect size wise and I love the tomato-red color so much, that I think it ended up being worth it. I have a sling bag I use when I’m not at work, but I wanted a smaller bag I could bring in the field with me and keep in my field bag but also wear after work when I’m shopping for field supplies with coworkers and this works so well! I can fit my work keys and personal car keys in it, a Kavu wallet, chapstick, eyedrops, some other small makeup and skincare stuff, and even my smaller iPhone (not the max size). It gets a little heavy when it’s packed full and will swing around if you’re bending over a lot but that maybe be fixable by how much you tighten it. I also like that you can remove the strap if need be when you’re trying to fit it in another bag. Highly recommend!
almost perfect
This bag is almost perfect for me. It’s small enough to put my daily carried items, has multiple attachment points so you can wear it differently, l only have one big complaint about this bag which is that they layered 6 tags into the inside of the bag which are towards the top and as long as the bag so you have this mess of tags going across the entire main pocket. I’m not sure why they needed so many tags on such a simple item, but other than cutting them all out it’s a huge pain to deal with.
Practically perfect little bag
This little bag is practically perfect: several pockets inside, one outside zipper pocket, and the right capacity to fit a phone plus a few small items. I gave it four stars because I would love to have a slip pocket on the outside, and one more pocket on the inside, and the clips for the cross-body strap are somewhat awkwardly located. But it seems pretty water resistant and suits my needs just about perfectly. In my experience it can be hard to find well-designed small bags; this one is the best I’ve found so far.
