Perfect Belt
I just bought my third one of these. Not because they wear out, but because it avoids the frustration of failing to switch it between pants and then being annoyed that my pants keep slipping down! One belt for my daily wear pants, one belt for single-track pants, and one belt for mowing/dirty work pants. I love this belt - perfect blend of minimalism and function, and the slim is a great fit for pants with smaller belt loops. The stretch is just perfect, the ability to micro-adjust the belt is awesome, the clasp is easy to use, the extra belt fabric tucks away invisibly where it doesn't interfere, this is the belt I wanted my entire life.
21st Century belt cures all ills!
I grabbed this off a shelf at full gate marching toward checkout! I put it on for a weekend VW bus expedition and pretty much haven’t taken it off since. Somehow all pants around my 37.5” waiste maintain an ideal degree of snugness through all ranges of motion while never seeming too tight. The belt feels weightless so you never notice any constriction or even feel it’s there. It’s just that good. I’ll be looking for a dressier version as I have the one with the small black buckle that disappears visually. While you will lament a lifetime of comfort and performance limitations from every other belt you’ve worn over the years, a future of ease and comfort promises many happy returns with this one.
It’s a belt! A comfortable bet!
Wore the belt for everyday activities and a 5-day camping trip. The best thing about the belt is that no matter what you’re doing - running, climbing, mowing the lawn, getting groceries - you never notice the belt. It’s easy to clean too. Keep it looped around the waist of your pants, pop those babies into the washer and at the end of the cycle, Boom!, clean pants and belt. I will definitely be using this belt for everyday and adventure activities until the fibers disintegrate from excessive use. Cheers!
Practical Travel Belt
This is a great belt for the person who needs a lightweight, functional and reasonable looking belt for travel. I have previously used cheap woven nylon belts but this one was both lighter weight, more comfortable and better looking. It looks decent enough for an active use belt. The stretch was adequate to keep pants from falling and also didn't restrict my body when bending over or sitting down like a heavy leather belt can. The low profile belt buckle fit well underneath my packs hip belts and didn't dig in like a big metal one. This would would probably work nicely for casual air travel there is no metal content.
Fixed Hip Pain
Previous to buying this belt I owned one belt, your standard men's black hard belt with a buckle available at any clothing store. I noticed the first time on a recent trip that two days into my hike my hips had really started to hurt. I was a bit flummoxed (no gear changes from previous trips) when I went to adjust my belt at one point and realized the hip belt for my bag was on it so heavily it was causing the bruising on my hips. Picked up this belt for another trip and it completely alleviated the pain for me. Only room for improvement for me would be to make adjusting the belt slightly easier. Honestly though now that it is set I will likely almost never change it.
Handy travel belt
Arcade belts are so perfect for air travel. I used to have a leather belt with a metal buckle, and having to take it off every time because it goes off during security check was so annoying. I fly at least twice a week for work, so when I found out that Arcade belts are travel-friendly, I decided to check it out. They offer some really great prints, but I stuck with black just so it can still look professional. The buckle is lightweight, but very sturdy. I would recommend making sure if you need the slim vs. regular, because the regular is just a little too wide for my khakis, though they fit my shorts (different brands). I ended up buying both to have options.
Plastic buckle broke first day
It fit great, love the slight stretchiness - but at the end of the first day wearing it the buckle broke. I wasn't doing crazy acrobatics and I didn't have it over stretched or anything like that. I unlatched the belt to use the restroom and a piece broke off. I'm seriously bummed because I really liked it but the plastic is too fragile.
Most comfortable belt I have.
Super slim so it fits in all the belt loops of my hiking pants and jeans...Kuhl, REI, Columbia, North Face, you name it. The wider Arcade belt did NOT fit in a lot of my pant belt loops so be advised I like the slim better. It is VERY comfortable and easy to clip. Super easy to adjust. Easiest belt I have. Be aware, the flexibility makes it NOT advisable for carrying a fixed blade knife on your hip. It stretches too much so use a stiffer leather or non stretch cordura belt for knife carry.
Wish it were less wide, a bit fiddly to adjust
This belt buckle is slightly over 1" wide, many women's pants belt loops are only 1" wide, so it takes a bit of time to fit it through the loops. And adjusting the size once it's through the loops is difficult, but necessary the first time. And it does stretch, but different fabric weights of my pants (heavy work denim vs thin cotton blend) means the belt needs to be adjusted for different pants. Not a deal-killer, just a bit of finicky on my part. The buckle is also a bit fiddly, it is thin, and slotting the one side into the other isn't something to be done in a morning rush. Still it's thin, and doesn't bulge out at the front of my pants, and stretchy but solid enough to keep my pants where I want them on my hips. If it came in 3/4", it would be better for women's pants.
Comfortable and passes TSA
Purchased this belt to go hiking and travel with. The belt is lightweight and stretchy while the buckle is made completely of plastic. There were many colors available, but I wanted something that could be paired with most clothing (black belt and black buckle). I took the belt with me to Peru and it worked wonderfully. First, I adjusted the belt to suit my needs and never had to readjust it since the first time. I wore the belt through TSA (airport security) and no beep or comment from security was made! This is a huge plus since it's annoying to take a belt off and on when going through security, especially if you're running late. I wore the belt hiking on several different trips and it held up (get it, held up?) with no issues. With the stretchiness of the belt, it adjusted itself to every move I made and the buckle held the belt together perfectly. Overall, I'd get it a 5/5 as it got me through TSA with no issues and held my pants together when hiking.
