I bought this on the recommendation of others since my feet are wide and I prefer a bigger toe box. This shoe doesn't have a big toe box and it was tight. The size runs small as well. When I first rode with it, it felt great although the shoe felt very tight. The air flows through the shoe so I thought this was going to be great. After 40 miles, the tongue of the shoe had rubbed on the top of both my feet enough to make it bleed. For long distance cyclists, a too tight shoe will lead to numbness in the ball of the foot and I felt the beginnings of that with just 40 miles. This shoe was not going to last the usual 100 miles I do so it was returned.
Super comfortable shoes. These fit my wide feet and the toe box is generous. The upper is pliable enough to accommodated my bunions without pain. The closure system is more complicated than velcro straps. Nevertheless, I figured out how to use in the closure system a in minute and like it. I've ridden 35 miles in the shoes and they work great.
I have wide feet and these fit great. No pinching at all and they're very easy to take on and off. The size chart is pretty spot on. I wear a 7.5~8 US and ordered size 40EU which fits great.
Got these for a 2.5-week tour and ended up with blisters on the fronts of my ankles because the tongue is rigid and dug into my skin once I tightened it. Would not recommend even though the rest of the shoe is good for the price point.
