Better than adequate

No criticism. I was undecided between two different slippers and this one won because it was slightly less expensive. :-) Well built, comfortable, good against cold morning floors. I don’t think I’d wear them out to the mailbox in the rain - unlike some models the sole doesn’t wrap up to make it good for wading through puddles - but that’s the only reservation I have. And, after all, they are slippers, not outdoor footwear!

The Defacto Wool Slipper!!!

These are the defacto wool slippers everyone should have on their feet! Roomy, great with or without socks, very breathable, warm but not hot... just as you would expect from well designed wool products. I love mine and will be getting a backup pair this holiday season just in case someone needs warm feet this winter! ;)

Comfy moccasins

Really comfortable. I wear 10 to 10 1/2 shoes and the 10 1/2 - 11 1/2 moccasins fit nicely. The first day they felt a little tight. I think that’s typical of new mocs (I go through a pair a year) but pretty soon I no longer even remember them being tight. This is a different style for me this time. The wool seems good quality in material and construction. I guess you can see I’m pleased with them! I try to only wear these inside (to keep the soles clean when I put my feet on an ottoman). But I often forget and walk around the yard. They’re quite easy for me to clean the rubber bottom.

I like the slipper, but_______

The slipper is what I have been looking for but it hurts my left foot. I carefully measure my feet but it is my left foot that is the largest (one foot is usually larger). It is a true 14, in fact I recently bought pair of diabetic shoes in that size and they fit perfectly. The largest size available for this slipper is a 14-15 but I do not feel that is a true size. My right foot fits just fine - no problem - but my left foot toes hit the end of the slipper and they are constantly hurting. So I would say that they are really not a true 14 let alone a 15. Otherwise the slipper is really good and meets all other criteria for me. I give it a three star only because of the problem with the left foot otherwise I might go all the way to the top rating for lesser sizes.

Another great Acorn experience

I've owned several pairs of Acorn slipper socks/Mocs through the years, but haven't had to get many of them because they are so well put together and long lasting. When it was time to replace my worn out Mocs, I tried this style for the sheepskin insoles and wider fit. Compared to the Moc, the toe box is wider and not as pointy, which is better for my crazy-wide foot. The gore feature makes them a little more snug than the Moc, which I like, too. Looking forward to several years wearing these!

Big disappointment

I have owned many pairs of Acorn Mocs and loved them. Something is different with these. After very few wearings the insole has reacted with something in my perspiration and smells bad. They also have stiffened. I laundered them and the slippers came out of the process fine but insoles still stink and are still stiff. This has never happened with any of my other Acorn products. I am very disappointed and will have to throw out a relatively expensive pair of slippers.

All time faves

These are my all-time favorite slippers, and I've had a bunch. A surprise was the rounded toes that preclude cramping; rather, my toes have room to expand comfortably. I'm not sure what the footbed is made of, but it feels like memory foam. At first they felt very snug, but after a few steps my feet sunk into the footbed and voila: they were very comfortable. I'll definitely buy another pair just like these when they wear out.

Replaced an older pair from years of use...

These are the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn and now they have the newer technology materials in them, which makes them even more comfortable. I had an old pair from about 6 years of use that the bottom eventually wore out. So I replaced them with this model and they have been fantastic. I definitely recommend purchasing them so you can lounge in comfort and style...

This product has a problem with Sole & Cushion

When walking on them they roll over to the outside of the slipper & you are walking on the side wall with your foot partly on & off the padding very uncomfortable. These are the medium wide size & they fit perfectly. It's as if the sole & padding are not wide enough to support the whole foot. I would not recommend them if this problem is not fixed.

Warm but thin sole

It looks nice, felt warm and good everywhere but in the sole. The sole feels like a flimsy memory foam - as I step I can feel the air leave the foam and my foot contact the ground. I have painful feet if I don't have a cushiony shoe - like a Hoka. This was the opposite. My soles hurt within 10 minutes of walking on carpet with them.
