Cute but not quality!
We got this for our daughters bicycle since her 20” doesn’t have braze-ons for a regular holder. It only lasted her a few rides before it broke!
Daughter loves it!
Purchased this for my daughter and she has been using it every day. It is a great solution for kids bikes that don't have a large enough frame for standard bottle cages. The cage installs easily on the handle bar using a 5mm Allen wrench/hex key. Additionally, it places the bottle within reach for younger children allowing them to keep their eyes forward. My daughter has already learned to take a drink while riding which makes for less stopping and starting. I would definitely purchase this again if needed.
Requires special tools
This seemed like a great idea for my kid’s bike, but I think you must have to have special tools to mount it. The screws don’t work with any of the screw drivers or Allen wrenches in our house. So add the price of a new specialized screwdriver to your purchase. Just frustrating. It is probably a great item once you figure out how to mount it. And maybe regular, serious bike riders have these tools at hand, but we don’t. This should really come with a little tool to help mount it.
Too hard to open/close
We have two of these bottles - one giraffe and one space kitty. Cute water bottles and the kids love them for the designs. BUT there are two related flaws that have me considering getting rid of these bottles. The mouth piece is SO hard to open and close, with your teeth or with your fingers. I struggle to open the mouth piece once it's been closed, and my 2.5 year old kids definitely can't do it. That means we leave the mouth pieces open most of the time. But, if the bottle tips when it's open, in your bag, in your child's lap in their car seat, water pours out, and not just a little bit. I haven't tried the bottle cage yet, so I can't speak to that. Bottom line, these bottles are cute but they lack some of the basic core functionality of even a mediocre adult bike bottle.
Doesn’t Fit on Prevelo
Thought it was a cute easy solution for my kid but there was now way it was fitting on my kid’s Prevelo 20” bike. I tried it on my adult bike and it was closer to fitting but still no luck. Returning.
Great on Hikes and Trails!
This water bottle has entertained our kiddos from just around the house to long bike rides on the trails to even just having a few mile hikes.

Bought this for my son’s 20” bike. He struggles a bit getting the bottle in/out as it is a bit too snuggle.
