This is what I'm talking about..

Finally a base layer worth it's weight. I feel like you only come up with this garment with years of product testing. I'm a ski guide in Japan and when I'm with clients we move slow, slow enough that I get cold. This base layer is perfect for keeping me warm it's comfortable and also when I ski for myself it whicks any moisture away when moving at fast speeds. You just have to be careful your mid layer isn't to insulated because this base layers does the trick. I would actually not wear my ghost puffy much anymore with this base layer as I become to warm.. If I could buy 4 of these I would be good for the entire season.

Warm and comfortable, but rips easily!

I got two of these in December and while I really enjoy wearing them, when I put it on recently the fabric of one sleeve ripped from very minor tension (see photo). I am pretty bummed out as I otherwise liked this garment.

Ripped the first time I took it off

Loved the cut and feel but I think that the application of the lettering weakened the fabric so it ripped easily when I was taking it off.

Looks and feels good. No Mountain Hardwear emblem on chest as picture shows. Anyone else have the emblem or not?

Perfect

I got this last summer and am just truly being able to use it now that it’s winter. It is truly the most comfortable thing ever. And the hood is awesome layered with other things or alone. I wish the winter was longer so I could wear this thing longer in the year.

Thermal Hoody

I have wore my thermal hoody numerous times, and so far the provide more warmth and the wicking of moisture are better then another brand of 100% Marino wool base layer. I am extremely happy with these garments.

arms run large

I’m normally a small, but these arms are long than usual! Torso is fine, but it’s the arm length that killed it for me. I thought it would be fine, but after a few tries with layering, I got annoyed.

Great Thermal

Wore this hoody in Antartica along with the pants and they provided the warmth and wicking that was needed better than the other brands. I highly recommend the Diamond peak Thermals.

Fragile

Awesome, awesome, awesome base layer. Definitely snags and seems fragile especially if climbing on limestone. Even Velcro pulled some threads. Otherwise great

Doesn't even itch!

This by far surpasses intelligent sheep fur's quality and softness. They do run tight/small, so if you like it not like a skin suit, order a size up.
