just pricey flip-flops
I really wanted to like these. Best supportive insole I have ever found in a sandal. Not that it matters, because you can only wear these lounging around. There is no method to tighten or loosen these or make them stay securely on your feet. They either fit perfectly or not at all and forget sometimes wearing them with socks to drive to the trailhead or something, with no way to adjust tightness between bare feet and socks. Heel strap does not stay in place, just slips down. Good only for lounging around a pool or backyard, or maybe taking out the garbage, if you are careful. If they had SOME adjustment, they would otherwise be comfortable and be a 5 star. You try tromping across a creek with these, and you will be watching them float away.
Delightful to use them in different surfaces
I had using them on urban setups with warm weather and some mountain hiking and they had behave pretty good so far. I'm still curious to see for how long the pivoting strap will stay in the right place. After walking 22k+steps with different slopes in a session felt little bit loose.
Not wide foot sandal
Well designed men's sandal, not for wide feet. For normal or narrow feet this sandal would be awesume
too small
disappointed in sizing. nicely made but very small. size 10 was too narrow and too short for a man size 91/2 foot. if you order, size up considerably.
very painful toe cap
The hard rubber toe cap began to hurt my toes from the minute I put them on. I tried to wear them a bit on the carpet in my house, and my toes felt like they were broken. Returning these, disappointed.
Great sandals for trail and office
I've had these for a year and find them durable and I like the style. The closed toe, convertible heel, and webbed upper were the selling points for me and I've been completely happy with them both in the river and in the office.
