Safe and well built. Size#4 is very versatile.
I find the size #2 to be quite useless because it is tiny. I use #3 for carrying a set of keys. As long as I lock it, it is great but if I keep the slider lock in the unlocked position, the key ring would get caught. I still like them because how low profile it is. I like the size #4 for multipurpose use. I can hang my water bottle or misc things when I travel in the car, air, train. I have been using it for a few years and no issues. I had experiences with carabiners without locking system breaking easily (was probably cheaply made) and also sliced a family member's finger when it somehow didn't stay closed. If I were to purchase it again, I would buy just size #4.
Professional Touch!
I had this cell-phone case tied & looped around my keychain strap to my belt buckle. & when I got back inside my apartment from grocery shopping all I had was the Key, keychain strap & cel-phone back-strap! I flew back to grocery store with no such luck. It turned out to be dropped in the apartment elevator & turned into bulding maintenance. Lucky me! So I turned to Nite Ize for HELP!
"Clamping" Down
Thus far, this set offers fine quality, efficiency, effectiveness. The best parts for me include the locking mechanisms to keep them from opening until needed, & the way they support heft & lie flat out of the way. Hopefully they will last for many years under non-rigorous conditions.
Great multi size Carabiners with safety lock!
These are useful to keep items from getting lost along with ease of hanging them. I use one on my key chain & one on my tennis bag. I like the safety lock which keeps them from opening until you want them open.
The compact size.
I bought several of these mini carabiners(Blue Aluminum #2,3, &4). The compact #2 size was the best one and most suitable for me (for my car keys but mostly for securing small items such as mini flashlights or other small travel items to my backpack). So far they have worked out great, they are sturdy enough so you don’t have to worry about losing the smal items & it has also worked great for hooking my car keys to a belt loop.
Simple, but versatile little helper
I use these little 'biners for all sorts of travel tasks -- holding zippers together, attaching things to daypacks. I love them, and appreciate the color selection, but wish the locking sliders were available as replacement parts (one got hung up on something and went missing).
Sturdy is the wordy but docking for the locking
Umm, sturdy? Clip does its job? Its pretty basic item and I only need it to carry my sleeping pad on the outside of my backpack. Has like a black sliding lock that is kind of annoying but probably good for preventing unexpected openings.
Not a fan
I actually don't like these very much. I like the usual carabiner you can just attach with one swipe, instead of having to make sure the little piece is out of lock position. I found them annoying to use.
Horrible carabiner
These horrible are horrible. The locking mechanism on them doesn't work well and is not intuitive. Something this small does not need a locking mechanism. It's also way too expensive.
Don't lose your gear
Well made like all Nite Ize products great to have a small carabiner that locks so gear doesn't fall off, easy to use and three sizes too chose from also different colors to.
