Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn

Just bought these shoes after wearing vans for years and wanting something I can hit the trails with. They’re lightweight, although seem very durable. The aggressive tread gives me a piece of mind on loose gravel and steep slopes. The insole hits all the right pressure points almost feeling like a massage with each step I take. I’ve worn these everyday since I’ve purchased them and they will remain with me everywhere I explore. I even converted my gal to Merrell shoes. (Same style for women) After wearing these, I will either buy the same style or another style of Merrell’s again and again. Hooked for life!

I tried these first with the.normal sockliner and they fit perfectly, so I assumed once I put in my orthotics there would be no hope of them fitting, but boy was I wrong. Even with wide feet, a high instep and the orthotics these shoes fit like they were made for me. Took them on a 5 mi hike on a hilly rocky trail with tree roots straight out of the box and they were perfect. What a great shoe!

Well-made shoes with great materials. Excellent fit and true to size. Padded tongue and heel collar. Comfort is very low. Forefoot comfort is okay but heel strike is very firm and hard particularly when going up a hill. Very jarring to the heel. Too bad because these shoes are excellent otherwise.

My first hike with my new Merrells was to Fish Lake in Glacier National Park, Montana while hiking on snowpack. The shoes did great at providing comfort & support while ascending the steep mountainside.

I've owned many Merrell hiking boots and had no complaints, but these are floppy and uncomfortable. One step away from a Sketcher
