The snow shoes worked great except...
I got the snowshoes last winter. They track very straight and the findings attached securely to your boots. They are easy on and off, and do well climbing steep terrain. The one problem I had is the first time that I wore them the tab that you pull on to loosen the front of a binding pulled right off. It was an easy fix with some Epoxy and a zip strip but it never should have come apart like that. It was a five minute fix which was faster than messing around with the shipping it back and waiting for a repair or a replacement. Other than that they were a great pair of snowshoes and I look forward to using them this winter.
Wouldn't buy anything else.
These snowshoes are the best I've ever had. Great all mountain snowshoes. The bindings are second to none. These are much better than MSR's best and cheaper.
Right shoe for me
I wanted to get a snowshoe that would cover the small rolling hills one day, and waste deep high mountain snow the next. And so far it has done exactly that. And maybe picking a 300lbs shoe for a wearer that with full gear isnt more than 220 was slight overkill, but i havent sunk past my ankles in deep powdery high mountain snow so worth it. My girlfriend got a 250lbs pair and loves them the same.
Excellent snowshoes
I had quite a few fun adventures in these snowshoes over the winter. I didn't get to take them up any steep mountains, but I definitely will in the future. These were a major upgrade from an older pair that I had been using. They're comfortable, and easy to get on and off. Super pleased with this purchase.
