Wish they were like the old ones
I had Barely bikini underwear for years and loved them - NEVER rode up, always fit well. When they finally started to wear out, Patagonia was making this version. When I read the reviews, they said they weren't up to the old ones, but I finally bought two pairs to replace some. They seemed fine at first, so I bought two more pairs on sale at REI. Right after that, the ones I'd bought earlier started to lose stretch in the legs and ride up. So disappointed! I don't know why they changed the older model since it seemed that everyone loved them. I hope they will fix these.
Cute fit and comfortable
I received a trial pair of these underwear and wore them for a variety of activities! Overall, I really liked them. The cut is really cute, like a proper bikini style (unlike some "active" style underwear which are a bit more granny-panty style) which is what I prefer. I used the sizing chart to select the size and they do look kind of small, but they stretch quite a bit. I still might size up if I purchased another pair (I got a small, and am 4'11", 115 lbs, pear shape/larger butt) but they are nonetheless quite comfortable. They neither ride up nor down, but sit nicely on the body. I never felt like I had to adjust them while I was engaging in various activities. A good choice if you're looking for something cute and comfy!
Perfect for travel & outdoor adventure
I got these in preparation for a 2.5 week trip to Europe, and they are perfect! They fit true to size for me and the material is perfect for washing them out in the sink & letting them dry overnight if you don't have access to laundry facilities. Plus, they're very comfortable for walking around town or sitting on an overnight flight. I've also loved how comfortable & breathable they are during hikes & runs, and I've been wearing them on "normal days" too just because they're so comfy.
Super Cute
I got the black flower print. They are super cute. The cut is very flattering. I do ALOT of walking and they did well in maintain me dry in 100+ degree weather. I would surely recommend this pair you will not be disappointed.
Best Hiking Underwear!
I bought several pairs of these for a trek in Nepal and they performed! The fit is perfect, material is so soft and breathable, and no wedgies! They dry super fast too, which made doing laundry on the trek or in hotel rooms easy. I used to be ExOfficio only, but these are officially my favorite underwear for any outdoor activity and travel. I'm 5' 5", 148 lbs, big booty, and the Medium was a great fit.
No slip, Booty grip
No wedgies here. This is my new favorite pair of go on a hike, wear under leggings, down dog, booty in a harness 40 feet above the crowd at the gym - underwear. They are an awesome material that says “I can survive 400 washes, and a lot of sweat and action.” I would expect nothing less from Patagonia! The next time I hit the trails or camp several days in a row - these underwear will be one of the first things I pack. Quick dry, light weight, comfortable. 5 Star.
Why wear anything
Pros: the material is very soft. Moisture wicking great. Cons: Doesn’t stay in place and very flimsy. I’m more comfortable not wearing anything. I’m 5’9 and 140lbs. I bought medium. I’ve had c-section and the waist is right above my scar but by mid day rubbing on my scar. And the tag is terrible. It’s bigger than than the parities themselves. I cut them out and now it scratches my bum. Come on Patagonia, tag-less is the only way to go.
Disappointing - wears out quickly
Don't buy these. The elastic holding the butt in place weakens around a year. Buy the Patagonia Women's Active Hipster Underwear instead! The Hipster lasts much longer (more sustainable).
Best Panties I've Owned
When it comes to panties I have always leaned towards cheaper products, which would eventually fall apart or sport holes. I shouldn't be surprised that Patagonia has produced the sturdiest, best quality panties I've ever owned. I am surprised at how comfortable they are with silky nylon. These panties won't be destroyed by any activity or laundry machine (which has actually done more damage to my underwear than the Alaskan wilderness). I highly recommend!
Run Small
I am 5'4" 140 lbs and pear shaped. A medium was too small, gave me sausage effect and too low in the back. I got an XL and it fits, still not the amount of coverage I want from a bikini cut.
