Fins come undone
I’m on my second pair. The fins do not stay fit and tight. The buckle comes undone. I’ve tried two different sizes. They’d be great if they stayed buckled.
DO NOT BUY
Bought these for a recent Hawaiian vacation. Strap on the flippers broke 100 yards off shore 1st time out and never held again. The actual snorkel leaks through the check valve so you have to clear the snorkel every minute or so. The only thing that worked was the actual mask however it is also very uncomfortable. Had to rent from a local shop. If you are wondering yes I have snorkeled before, many times. My kids got gear from Costco and it performed much better and was less expensive. Bought from REI because they had great gear in the past and only carried quality brands. In short this gear will only make you sick from swallowing sea water and strand you off shore. DO NOT BUY
Bad buckle from the get-go
The snorkel and mask worked well for me...I got this set as an extra set so I could take friends snorkeling with me (I already had my own gear). I went to try it out and one of the buckle straps doesn't hold in the buckle, so the strap kept coming undone as I swam. This happened the first time I used it. I intend to return the product and might try another set...maybe I got a "bad one"...
decent enough
This is a good first snorkel set if you are unsure if you're going to use it much or whether or not you like snorkeling. If you already know you like snorkeling and are going to use it frequently (like weekly or monthly, not just for a single trip), then I would just get something better quality. I wish this set was better for the price, but it's decent enough. The flippers don't stay tight, I have to constantly adjust them in the water for fear of them falling off. The mask is alright. It does fog up, so you have to take it off and rinse it out while treading water. The comfort of the mask of course does not compare to more expensive brands. It does keep water out though, which is more than I can say for the cheap Walmart pair I tried first.
Fabulous
Bought these at the last minute before our trip to Tahiti. They worked fabulous. Comfortable & snorkel didn’t let any water in. Definitely recommend these. Top Quality
Great for Hawaii!!
Great on our trip to Hawaii!!! Adjustable and the fins worked well. Had three sizes for our family.
Nice portable set
Picked this set (in a medium) up at the garage sale for a trip to Catalina. The size of the gear was perfect for backpacking onto the island. The mask was great: no leaks, no issues with it fogging up. The snorkel was similarly good. Didn't let water in at all. I didn't try the fins on this trip so I can't speak for them, but I was pleased with the performance of the other two items.
Poor quality
Very poor quality product. Fins don’t stay tightened and mask leaks. Basically just very very poor and halitosis product.
