Zipper gets stuck

This jacket fits beautifully, moves comfortably, and is good wind production. Warn outdoors hiking & camping for about three months. In terms of movement and Comfort I totally love the jacket. However, the zipper gets stuck repeatedly even though I’ve learned to use my fingers to keep the heavy fabric away from theZipper teeth. I sometimes need help getting out of the jacket and the zipper is stuck. For that reason alone I would knock off two stars. Otherwise I would’ve given it a five star.

The zipper does get stuck. It feels like a rain coat, but it is barely water resistant. I took my dog out briefly (like 5 mins) during a medium rain and my shoulders were soaked when I came back in. It’s thick, not packable, and why would you pack it, anyway? It’s not worth much out in the wild. Honestly, it’s actually a pretty weird jacket. I am not sure what purpose it is supposed to serve. I wish I didn’t get it.

Great for stinky girls

Best everyday jacket ever staple piece that I wear almost daily! Side note I tend to be sweaty and this jacket doesn’t smell or hold stink like some of my other clothes.

Care Guide for Jacket is Inaccurate

I loved this jacket. It kept me dry in rainy Scotland. After I washed it according to instructions, it lost all its repellency. I contacted Fjallraven who told me that yes, if you wash it, it loses it's ability to repel rain. That was not explained on the website. Using a product from REI in the washing machine had no effect either. It looked like a thin cotton jacket and could not resist small drops of water. I then took it to the local Fjallraven store where they waxed it for free. The wax was applied unevenly and there are some places with no wax and other places where it is heavily waxed. I am frustrated with both REI and Fjallraven for inaccurate explanations for the care of this jacket.

Love this jacket! Styling, cut and material is so nice. It's the perfect jacket for when the temps start to lower and the rain starts falling!

Timeless Indigo Blue jacket

I wanted a timeless light jacket for hiking with my dogs that wasn't a puffer. This one does not disappoint! I love the Indigo Blue as I gravitate towards cooler colors .I am usually between a small and a medium and got a small for a more fitted look.. I wear it over the grey Fjallraven Snow Cardigan. The hood is spacious enough for a toque and the overall fit is very flattering. For reference I am 5ft4, 140lbs, hourglass body type. Keep in mind this jacket does not have any stretch to it and the shoulders are a bit narrower. The sleeves are nice and long and the length sits just below my waist (I have a short torso). I have been reaching for it since I got it last month. Looking forward to Spring in Alberta to wear it more often!

Fjallraven Stina Jacket

This jacket is perfect! Needed something for in between seasons, as well as cooler hikes when the sun goes away without a lot of extra bulk.

Nice casual jacket

I bought this jacket since I did not have a casual outdoor jacket. I originally followed the advice of one reviewer who indicated not to size up, this was a mistake as the chest was too small and I could not fit a heavier layer underneath so had to exchange for a medium. So go by the size guide if you are ordering. For reference, I am 5’7, 134 lbs, 36 chest - The bottom is wide so I wish it was narrower, there is a drawstring but it would be more flattering if it did not flare out as much as it does. Overall, super nice jacket.

Stina Jacket

I am 5’7 and normally a size 10 (UK) or 36/38 (EU). I am slim but have quite broad shoulders and slim hips. I ordered the S and M but the M fits better around my back and shoulders. However, the bottom of the jacket flares out and would look better on someone with curves! You can pull the jacket in at the hem using toggles though, which works well. I also like the long sleeves. The hood could be better if it was adjustable, but it’s a decent size. Overall, really nice and I’m looking forward to wearing it.

Love it

It looks nicer than the pictures. The interior seams are finished, interior pocket, adjustable hem elastic, zipper exterior pocket, high collar and a fitted hood. As always, I’m impressed with the quality of these products. I am 5’2” and 112 pounds. The bottom is a little wide, and the sleeves a little long, but the snap closure on the sleeves and the elastic around the bottom bring those things in fine. I see complaints on the width of the sleeves, I have larger biceps, and this isn’t an issue for me.
