I sized down (half size) as recommended from a few other reviews & that was a good call. They look great & probably are comfortable but they were way to narrow on the toe box. I’ve never required a wide shoe & ive been sized at a few shoe stores before. Sadly had to return
I was looking for an every day training shoes with enough cushion and support to withstand longer runs (10-16 miles) while still being light and responsive. I have definitely found that in the Dynaflyte 2. Having worn Asics in the past, I had moved away from them because of changes to some of the models I wore. I was never happy running in other shoes and decided to give the Dynaflyte a try. I have run at least 75 miles in them and so far my feet and lower legs are in far better shape than they were with other brands' shoes. I highly recommend this shoe for a responsive, fast feel.
I bought these shoes about a month ago, I love the fit on my narrow feet and the cushion is perfect is has allowed me to get back running without knee pain!
I really wanted to love these shoes, style and look...amazing! I read the reviews of running big and I went 1/2 size down. Still loose but a whole size would be too small. I used a thicker pair of socks (not of my liking, I use thin socks). These shoes are very narrow, run big and hurt my feet so bad. The older asics i have in different styles I can put on and go no blisters, nothing. Just wearing these around the house had me in pain. I purchased online b/c no retailer carried this shoe in my area to try on. I won't do that again!!!
The other reviews said it, but I didn't heed the warnings- I have had so many pairs of Asics in the past and felt like the size I always ordered was perfect (if anything I might consider going larger). My regular size even felt good when I tried them on, but I got blisters on back of both feet from my "normal" size as too much room to move around and rub on the heel. This has never happened with any Asics shoe in the past (running or court). These are definitely sized differently so order accordingly- or choose a different model!
I bought my first pair of these back when I started my first nursing job. I am on my feet for 12 to 13 hours each shift. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and support my high arches. My back, knees, and feet are able to last the entire shift without complaint. I did follow the reviews and went down a half size when I am normally a 10 in sneakers. I also always have issues with sneakers being too wide since I have narrow feet and these hug my feet perfectly but not too tight to where it’s uncomfortable.
I bought these shoes and was so excited to go run in them. Unforantely, they are horrible. They killed my soles and arches of my feet. Also gave me horrible blisters on my heels. I went on 5 runs with them and each time I came back with my feet killing me and blisters. I had to buy new running shoes. I am just sad I cannot return these shoes. I do not recommend anyone to buy these unless you want your feet to kill you. Also my arch is not that high or flat. It is about normal arch size.
These shoes feel phenomenal. I’ve been running in Kayano for the past few years. These feel even better than Kayano. First run they felt like they were already broken in. Very light and comfy! No hotspots or foot soreness from the very first run. I’m very impressed and happy with my purchase! I did take the advice of previous reviews and went down a half size and they fit perfect. Highly recommend if you have high arches! Great shoe Asics!!!!
They’re definitely helping me not run on the outer edge of my foot. I can feel it roll my foot back to the center instead of pushing off with my baby toes. My issue is with the heel it’s shaped so hard so it’s rubbing on my heel, not horribly but enough that I feel like I need to tie they really tight so it can’t really move/rub while running. Hopefully with breaking them in it’ll relax a bit.
I'm a loyal ASICS shoe fan. Ordinarily, I go into a store to buy my shoes. However, due to COVID-19, I purchased these shoes online hoping they'd be similar to a discontinued shoe I love. However, after wearing these shoes 2x, the blisters on my feet were crazy. I've never had this happen with any shoe ever. I stopped wearing them until my blisters healed, hoping for a better 2nd round. Again, quarter size blisters. I tried everything to tie them to keep my heels from rubbing. I double up on socks, taped my blisters, wore blister blocks... still blisters, even on my toes. After comparing these shoes to my other ones, I realized the back was just a hard piece of plastic with very little fabric. My feet were rubbing against a piece of plastic for every walk/run. I wish I could return them for a different pair, but I don't think it's a possibility. I will be going into a store to try on my future ASICS.
