Doesn't live up to Hoka standard

I have owned the Hoka Vanquish and the Hoka Clifton 4s. Both of these shoes made me obsessed with the Hoka brand. They were extremely comfortable, durable, and could be worn for anything. I was excited to try the Hoka Clifton 5 Knit. I have been disappointed with the fit of this shoe. I wear a 9.5 in both of the other models, but the knit shoe seems significantly larger. My second time wearing the shoe I had multiple seams rip. I have noticed that it feels like there is a rock in the midfoot around my medial arch (not sure if it is the insert or what). Overall am disappointed with the shoe. Going to try to return the shoe. Would like to give Hoka another shot

Extremely light, well cushioned and stable

The HOKA Clifton 5 Knit road-running shoes are extremely light In terms of both the overall weight feeling on the feet and the knit construction around the feet. They are very well cushioned and very stable. They are so comfortable and heel/foot bed protecting that they are perfect for all day walking or sightseeing. They definitely lived up to the expectations and went beyond. I would definitely recommend them.

Super comfortable, not for the long game though.

Bought these in April and now it’s 8 August and the bottom tread is just about completely gone. It’s mostly foam with some rubber on that. Been mostly treadmill and asphalt walk/running. Will be taking them back to see what I can do for a exchange/upgrade.
