comfortable but can’t hold up to baby’s breath
I have had these shorts since April. I have done a few rides in them and worn them around the house. The material is very comfortable so it gets a good rating for that, but I have two issues. The first is the fit. The 32” is way too tight, the 34” is way too big. There is no stretch in the waistband so you are SOL if they don’t fit right. You either fit or you don’t. The second is although the material is very comfortable it can’t hold up to anything. I have thread pulls, pilling and just way too much wear for a pair of shorts that I have had now for two full months. They have been relegated to PJs. The wear is in the crotch and on the legs. Pretty much anywhere they have come in contact with anything besides skin. Very poor. Way too expensive for the quality. Definitely not suited for any type of riding. Great if you are looking for an overpriced casual short with zero functionality. I’ve bought boxer shorts for $10 that could hold up to more.
Very comfortable
The shorts are not as baggy as others I have and are a shorter as well which is what I wanted. I would XC race in these. Light fabric (good on hot days) and a surprisingly comfortable chamois. Cell phone and car key stay secure in the front pocket. I would buy another pair if there was another color option.
Too much stretch
These shorts hang like a bag on you when they get wet with sweat. The material gets way too heavy when wet. They also have too much stretch and that causes them to get caught on the saddle often. Not enough waste adjustment to make up for it. I plan to return them.
