Form fitting; Cool and comfortable
The size Large fits in a form-fitting way that is just short of being too snug (I don't like tight work-out clothing). Well made, and feels nice and cool for excercising int heat - the scoop neck is just low enough without over-exposure; Straps are relatively narrow, but more or less cover standard bra straps, and they feel and look great. Arm holes roomy enough, but not gaping. I am 5'6", 38B. My middle is where my extra 5 lbs are, and this was on the "okay" side of not showing too much roll. If I was larger busted Lg would have been too tight for me. Great top at sale price!
HH quality but skimpier than expected
The product photo does not show this top on a human, so you can’t really see that the front part is quite skimpy – a true tank top. I’m old enough that no one wants to see that much of me, so this will be a top that I wear in a private exercise class or at home. (I’m keeping it, because I got it at a greatly reduced price.) I got the graphite blue, which does *not* have the light-colored piping that you see in the product photo. And the color only shows a hint of blue in the right light. It looks like dark gray. All that said, it’s the quality that you would expect from Helly Hansen. The fabric feels great and moves well with you and wicks the sweat away. It’s comfortably snug. If you’re between sizes, I would suggesting ordering the larger. And if you have the body for a snug tank top, this will look great on you and work well for you while you’re exercising.
