Looks great, very warm

I own a couple of the more technical Rab insulators, but overall is my favorite to wear and the one I wear most. It's a great looking and performing winter coat with the typical attention to detail that keeps me coming back to Rab's jackets. The fleece lined collar and hand pockets, longer cut, hide-away snaps when you remove the hood, and the characteristic longer sleeves are my most appreciated on this one. So far I've worn this down into the 10-20F range and it is perfectly toasty. Not quite as packable as my Positron but comparably warm w/ everyday styling and comfort makes it a winner.

Middle Jacket

This is the jacket you want in that 0F- 35F degree range. Already had a high altitude, sub zero jacket, and lighter down jackets for spring and fall. This one fits great in the middle. Good looking and well made.

Yes , I recommend this product

Puffs up really well and

Puffs up really well and is surprisingly a lot warmer than my old 750 fill jacket (not Rab). It is a generous size and there's plenty of room for layering up, though I only wear a t shirt underneath and it's plenty warm enough at -3!. Its practical and stylish too with a great look and solid weather protection. Nit had a single piece of down escape yet either which has been an issue with others. An excellent all round jacket and well worth the cost.

Very Warm and Affordable Down Jacket

Very high quality and comfortable jacket for urban winter wear, feels like wearing a sleeping bag. I bought the green one. Quite heavy at almost 1kg and rather thick so not suitable for adventuring but perfect for cool, dry commuting/ walking around a city. And I definitely wouldn't wear this over 10C (even with just a t shirt) since its so warm. Adjustable hood works well, not too big like a lot of brands.

Brilliant!

Looking for a classic style down jacket that can be worn daily for all non technical outdoor activities i.e. dog, pub and town! However, don't be mistaken as it is a technical jacket with 650fp so it's warm but is somewhat heavier than say a microlight alpine. It's rapidly become my favourite jacket for winter. I'm 6ft 4 with 45" chest and the XL is a perfect fit for me.

Ery good value

Considering the price this is an excellent value jacket. Very warm with the sheer weight of down it has even though the fill power is 650. I use this as my “normal’ every day cold jacket and have a Batura jacket when its very cold. Only drawback ro Andes is lack of velcro at front zip fastening which leaks a bit of warmth. Otherwise i would give this 5 stats.

Took me forever to find

Took me forever to find a quality down jacket that was durable and extremely warm.. I live in the mountains in Montana and as I write this review its -17 degrees below zero outside. With this jacket and a simple base layer I can stay outside indefinitely. Pockets are conveniently large. I absolutely love the hood on super cold windy days. The button/snaps are great and easy to do/undo with gloves. The material stops the wind and is way more durable than any other down jacket I own. I wanted more of a parka feel, something with a bit of weight but not so heavy I wouldn’t wear hiking around the mountains. So far I haven’t found anything I dislike about this jacket. Nothing! It’s not the lightest or the most packable but I wasn’t looking for that and RAB doesn’t advertise it as such. They offer plenty of other jackets that fit that category. I would absolutely buy again and will likely get a light weight packable version for my Mountain expeditions to replace my Outdoor Research down mid layer. Their prices are great compared to other lesser quality jackets as well.
