great for hiking
I was looking for some good comfy hiking shorts that wouldn't ride up and would fit over my booty and thighs ( i have an athletic build). Most running or hiking shorts don't fit me well, so it is hard for me to find good shorts. These ended up fitting me perfect without it riding up at all. I wear a size 4/6 and I ordered a size Small. I feel these shorts run a little big, which works out great if you are curvy on the bottom.
Running with confidence
I completed a trail half marathon in these and they were perfect. Comfortable, didn't ride up and long enough that I didn't feel self conscious.
Curse this liner
I love the color and the material that is on the outside of the short. I wanted lightweight shorts and this fits the bill. HOWEVER the liner inside is horrible. I don't know why they decided to make the stitching on the inside of the liner super exposed and scratchy it makes no sense. It is already discomforting on for a couple minutes, I can't imagine running or hiking in these for long periods of time.
Just Perfect
I ordered both a M and a L, and ended up keeping the L. I have muscular thighs so I went with the L's. When I tie the waist string, it makes them just perfect. The love the length as well as the small slits on the sides. The material is very comfortable and breathable. I'm about to order another pair because I've worn mine so much in the short time I've had them.
Tiny pocket and no room for curves
Strike one: unlike the description, the zipper pocket is NOT big enough for a cell phone unless you're still rocking a Nokia circa 2007. Strike two: not enough room in the hips for curves. These were tight on my butt but loose in the waist. Strike three: the built in underwear makes it impossible for these to fit well.
Super comfortable
Love these shorts, finally a longer inseam, used them for backpacking the Grand Canyon. Lightweight, did not interfere with pack belt, cool, no chafeing, and was able to lounge in the creek at the end of the day and they dried quickly.
No why did you change the cut from last year!
I love last year's model. This year they changed the cut at the split to be block shaped. The scallop cut is gone
Great!
Got them for kayaking and they’re just perfect! Well made and will dry quickly! Lightweight!
