Not As Described
The description of this product states that it has removable padded liner shorts. Therefore I bought this item thinking that I would be able to remove the padded liner and wear the outer layer as separate shorts when I got off the bike. This is most definitely not the case! Everything is all sewn together... there is no possibility of removing any part of these shorts. Also, the waistband is not adjustable as described. It is a regular waistband with an inch of elastic on each side. I am keeping them because I need bike shorts for a vacation, but these are not what I expected.
Cute but awkward... not unlike a teenager
Really wanted these to work, but they never felt right with the double shorts. I even sized up but still, really tight in the wrong spots #cameltoe
Looks good, but not super overall
I like the way these fit and look, however I'm concerned about their long term durability. While riding the exterior fabric on the inside of the thigh rides up as it catches the saddle. As a result the chamois rubs against the saddle directly. While not a problem yet I anticipate the chamois will wear down quickly since it's mesh-like and not super sturdy. I find I'm regularly trying to pull the outside fabric down during rides. As a previous reviewer said, the short was advertised to have a removable chamois (it does not), so that was a bit disappointing as well.
Nice biking shorts
I am 5’5”, and 135 lbs. I ordered a size 8 and these shorts were fine. The waist seemed a little big, but needed the bigger size for my hips. Shorts did seem a little long, but that’s how biking shorts are supposed to be. Overall, they are very nice shorts.
