Hawaii shoe

Used in Hawaii for running on old lava flows along the ocean, trails along the sea, and sometimes into the sea. Great shoe I'd recommend as an aqua hiking shoe, or trail runner.

Great Shoes, but Run Too Big

I typically wear a size 8.5/r 9 US, and I ordered these in a 8.5 since I knew I'd try to wear them more as water shoes (hence, sock-less). Sadly, even with running socks on, there was a good inch of space between the end of my longest toe and the front of the shoes; they actually looked like clown shoes on me. I'm going to give them to my brother (who wears a size 9.5/10 US usually) since his feet are sized more appropriately for this shoe. They're comfortable and breathable (just what I wanted), but they're just way too big. And, now, a few days later, I find that the size 8s are all sold out in the black; hugely disappointed.

Uncomfortable Cheap Material With Mediocre Grip

I had a previous Salomon water shoe that was exactly what I needed. It was comfortable, stylish and grippy. I do a lot of running on the river over rocks and wet terrain, so I need a shoe that is comfortable with great grip on wet surfaces. The last pair I had was perfect. This shoe is a poor replacement. The materials are some kind of plastic instead of fabric and the seams are abrasive on several parts of my foot. I tried breaking these in for months and they still hurt my feet every time. I can only wear them for short stretches and cannot run in them. I don't wear socks of course because it's a water shoe. I miss the old style and am so disappointed in this iteration.

Amazing Hiking/Water Shoes

I hiked in and out of the water all day. They worked amazing! I watched other people struggle with their shoes; these bad boys stayed on my feet and have solid support. They hugged my feet in knee-deep mud. They do run small. I'm typically a 13 and I am wearing a size 12 comfortably. I would recommend these for someone who wants more than just a water shoe.

Great Features

I brought this shoe for Kayaking and I have not done any paddling this season because I live Buffalo N.Y. area. Winter is still hanging on. The shoe fits great and the cord-lock laces are added bonus. Easy on and off without lose ends flopping around. It is also light on your foot and well vented for fast drying.

Overall Happy One Small Issue

This shoe is unbelievably light, breathes amazingly well and preforms extremely well while wet. While I would recommend this product, the way the toe box folds up while walking as a little annoying. Hard to explain but overall great product.

Most uncomfortable

Bought on sale and liked until I got home tried to wear them. Had to take off after one hour. They made my feet ache. Could not return because I threw away the box and receipt.
