These are ultra narrow. On top of that, you can feel the seam that attach the pieces together on the inside. It is not a flat seam stitch. I like the material being thin and flexible, but it wasn’t comfortable.

I just received these and do not find them to be narrow at all. I found these in a search of waterproof footwear on REI, so I was disappointed to find out that they are 'quick drying' and not water proof at all. Since this was an issue with the REI search engine and not the shoe it did not impact my rating. The shoes are comfortable and look good. They are appropriate for a variety of settings from the trail to the workplace which I appreciate.
