If you have big feet, buy a size up!

A comfortable boot - I wear size 13s and have wide feet, ended up purchasing a size 14 and have a pretty decent fit both width and length wise. If I wore a slightly thicker wool sock I'm sure I could fill it in. Broke the pair in during a camping trip that turned...pretty wet. I found my calves cramping while kneeling in these, but otherwise range of motion and comfort were good. Feet stayed dry too which was a plus. Be cautioned though that these are not great wading boots, as the hand-holes in the sides reduce the maximum depth you can submerge too. Also, the pair is fairly heavy, making it tiring for extended distance wear.

Second pair and planning on a third

We already had a pair of Bozeman Tall boots in the house but when outdoor projects in the weather-challenging PNW made it difficult for sharing, we ordered a second pair. Sliding into them with ease, we are on our way out the door with the pups or clearing brush from the side yard or slopping through the surf on the nearby beach. We realize these will be a great gift for dad in the wintery Great Lakes area, slipping them on to run the snowblower, getting supplies from the pole-barn, or slogging through the slush to gather the latest from the corner post office. A third pair will be ordered next. Sturdy, weather-proof, comfortable, and styling'! Our family digs 'em!

Great Boot - slight discomfort at shins

I recently purchased these for a trip to Upstate NY in December: 20-30 below zero (with wind-chills) and moderate snow depth. Feet were extremely warm with thick socks. Never got sweaty in the rubber bottom foot part. Extremely sure-footed (no slipping on ice). I am a normal size 9 but bought 10 for thicker winter socks. Fit is perfect. HOWEVER- at the top of the boot at shin height, I got abrasions and was bruised. I attempted to wear my higher winter socks pulled over long-johns with some relief. Not sure if the neoprene top will break in or if I need to dedicate higher padded ski socks but on bare skin (just above the top of the sock line) it got pretty painful. I will try and upload the photo later... Would give 5 stars but the pain mitigates it to a 4 star rating.

Excellent 'Chore' Boots

These are excellent 'chore' boots, exactly as advertised. They are warm and waterproof. They pull on quickly and easily using the 'handles' in the shaft, and pull off almost as easily using the 'spurs' over the heel. The second insole size adjustment system worked perfectly: I wear a wide half-size, and the boots were uncomfortably tight with both insoles in place. Removing the second insole (as the instructions clearly explained) immediately made them quite comfortable. On the downside, I would not recommend these boots for all-day wear, long walks or any sort of climbing. Like most pull-ons, they fit rather loosely, which isn't good for lots of walking, stairs or ladders.

very functional, great for wet conditions

This is my third pair of bog boots. Overall, they’re great boots, BUT they need to do more to make them more durable. The neoprene can delaminate and separate from both heels of the shoe. The outer material can also sometimes tear easily. That said, Bogs is aware of the problem and the hang tags in this new Bog boot says there’s a 100% increase in durability. This latest version appears to be tougher ( fingers crossed). Aside from the durability issue, they’re a great, comfortable outdoor work boot especially for muddy, wet conditions!

Does what you expect, wish durability was a bit better

So I'm on my third pair of bozeman talls. Love 'em, they're comfortable, warm, definitely waterproof (I ford shallow streams pretty regularly), and easy to take on/off. My only point of contention with them is that the sole of the boot gets a crack in it after about two years, hence being on my third pair. It normally shows up around where the ball of your foot would be. Once this crack has started, the boot is no longer waterproof, there's no way to seal/repair it. I'm not so much upset that the boots don't last longer, but rather that it's always the same spot that wears down and cracks first.

I will buy Bogs again

I did a lot of research on various insulated rubber boots before deciding on these. Honestly the deciding factor was the seamless sole, I felt that this would significantly reduce the possibility of leaks. I don't think that they would be great at -72 degrees but I have worn them in in 15degree weather working outside and my feet were comfortable. I will also state that I normally wear Red Wing work boots and I would say that the comfort level for these boots are pretty close to my Red Wings. I wear them for about 10 hours a day 5 days a week and have never gotten uncomfortable in them.

I like my boots & hope they stay slip resistant for years.

I wear these usually a day to feed my animals and clean up manure from four horses, walking on grass, railroad ties, in mud and on gravel. They are more slip resistant that I thought they would be. I walk down & up a short steep hill and they are great, even on light snow/ice! They are easy to put on and very warm. The back part isn't too flexible at first (sort of digs into the back of my calf), but by the time I've walked out to the barn it either softens up or I don't notice it anymore. They are also a generous size and larger than other size 8's from the other manufacturers of like boots, I had to order the next larger size of the insoles I use in all my boots, but once in, the boots fit me just fine.

Awesome boots

I purchased my first pair of Bogs 8 years ago and they have NEVER let me down. Decided to buy another pair and seen the Bozeman is rated to -72 so I decided to get them and use the old ones for rough work as they are still in very good shape. Love the way Bogs fit and it is nice to know they can handle whatever northeast Nebraska winters throw at them. Wear them almost non stop in the winter, very warm and my feet stay dry. They are very light so I can wear them all day. Nothing but Bogs for me. I can't think of anything negative to say about them. Yes I will purchase Bogs again.
