Best available; could be better
Would be better if it had --2 way zipper --more pockets --flap over the zipper --a tab in the neck to hold the inner jacket in --arm-pit/side zip vents That being said, it was BY FAR the best I could find, and I literally tried on every coat in the store. It is loose enough to layer over a heavy sweater The inner jacket actually fits properly into the shell--the sleeves don't hang out or bunch up It is soft enough to sit down in, even without the two way zipper The shell is actually water proof--even the liner is quite water-repellant
Perfect winter coat
Purchased this coat particularly for a long winter trip to Scotland (cold temps, rain/snow). The insulated inner layer was perfect paired with a sweater to keep me warm. The outer layer was completely rain proof and truly held up against the worst rain and snow. The two layers put together kept me toasty during below freezing temperatures. The fit was also perfect, as I'm a short female, the XS was great!
Warm and comfortable
So far this coat is working well for me. It is comfortable and I like the fact that the hood is removable. The one negative is that the inner jacket liner has no attachment to the outer jacket at the neck so it tends to droop down making it more challenging to put on, and it sometimes gets caught under the hanger when hanging it up. It has then gotten caught in the hanger and I am concerned that it could tear if I pulled it quickly from the closet. I am going to have to try to sew something at the neck to secure the 2 together.
Looks good, stayed toasty
Marmot gear got an excellent review from my outdoorsy gear-aficionado stepdad, so I scooped up this jacket. Roomy fit and stayed plenty warm and dry snowshoeing in a light mist. Layered with a Columbia fleece, I was actually too warm. Bought a pair of Marmot insulated snow pants for the same adventure which also worked well.
Very Versatile
This jacket is perfect for skiing, the shell for light hiking and the down coat for every day wear. I get so much use out of the 3-in-1 features that I feel like I bought 3, quality, Marmot jackets for the price of 1!
Warm, hood comfy and stays up is desired
The Marmot women’s featherless component 3-in-1 jacket is almost instantly warm when I put it on, and probably the warmest I’ve ever had. Very warm around the neck, which, tho nice, probably will lead to a need for more washings. Hood stays up without adjustment. Would buy again, though wish it had a two-way zipper.
Not a great ski jacket
I bought this online for skiing. I was disappointed when it arrived because there are no wrist straps to tighten the wrists openings, no ski pass pocket, no pit zips, not enough pockets, ... I will return it.
Wished this had fit
The liner jacket was too tight under the arms and across the back; otherwise, the rest of the jacket fit perfectly. If I sized up, everything else would have been too big. My Marmot ski pants are xs and they fit perfectly. I am 5'5" and 115. The quality of the jacket looks very good.
Functional, stylish, comfortable, true to size
Lucked into this at an end-of-season sale so haven’t had the occasion to try it in a variety of weather situations, which is the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars!

i bought this a month ago, I was very happy with it. Look forward to wearing it for this late fall and winter.
