Favorite shirt, except...

This is by far my favorite running shirt! It's lightweight, very breathable, and the fit is perfect (not too loose but not tightly fitted). Runs true to size. The only issue is the stitching. The stitching is way off, like the tension on the sewing machine wasn't right, so there's threads hanging down everywhere and the edges of the shirt are coming apart. I wore my Mt. Rainier shirt for ONE day and had the bottom unraveling. I returned it for the same shirt, and the new one that arrived might actually be worse. :-/ Where's QC?? I kept the shirt because it's so comfortable and my favorite running shirt minus the stitching. I own another one in the "National Parks" and the stitching is just fine.

Super thin

I was really excited about these shirts- fun designs, great colors, and a wonderful cause. And as somebody who overheats easily, I'm all for performance material that wicks. But when they say thin they mean it. It looks like your favorite but entirely threadbare tee from your childhood that you don't wear anymore because it might rip if you sneeze. Sadly, I'll be returning this. I'm really curious if the men's shirts sport the same threadbare look.

Men’s version is opaque

Want to level the playing field? Make my clothing to the same standards as a mans. This flimsy nonsense demeans REI’s proposed mission to empower women in the outdoors- I love a little flirtation in my wardrobe, but either offer men the same option or stop sexualizing me by downgrading the quality and opacity of my clothing.

Poor craftsmanship

I washed this shirt just after receiving it in the mail today. While hanging the shirt to dry, I noticed the seams and stitching are already coming apart! I haven’t even had a chance to wear it. The only reason I gave two stars is because I love the design. I’m so disappointed. I expect better quality from REI.
